Menu for tasting

Hi all! We are going down for our Planning session and tasting in June and I am trying to figure out what we should have for our brunch reception in November at Atlantic Dance Hall. Does anyone have any suggestions for menu items, or at least tasting items? I would love to have our menu be different from the usual brunch items.

We are also doing a welcome party dinner at Italy Isola. My side of the family is typical NYC Irish/Italian and they know good Italian food. Do any of you have suggestions for items to serve at that dinner, I was thinking of sticking to the Italian theme and since we won't be doing an Epcot tasting I am pretty much counting on everyone else's suggestions for Italian food that they make really well. Its hard to believe that I have never eaten in Italy when I have been to Epcot. We'll be eating there one night during out PS Trip, I was just hoping I could get some suggestions beforehand. the brioche french toast with bananas foster was awesome! DF suggests Champagne sabyon (sp?)!

You might consider action stations like build-your-own omelette or a crepe station, or maybe incorporating the more exotic fare found on Boma's brunch buffet. And, personally, I wouldn't turn down a mashed potato martini bar at ANY time of day!

The food at your party will be made by Epcot's central kitchen, not the restaurants in the Italy Pavilion, so eating there won't give you an exact idea what to expect. But it might give you ideas for dishes that the kitchen can approximate!
