Several changes are coming to the menu at the Coral Reef restaurant in the Living Seas Pavilion at Epcot.

The lobster bisque which has been a staple at the restaurant for many years is being replaced with New England calm chowder. Smoked wild mushroom cioppino and the oven roasted citrus marinated chicken are being replaced with cajun chicken pasta and orange glazed salmon. Hot dogs are being removed for the children's menu.

Not sure how reliable this source is, but when we were dining at Nomad Lounge this past week our server mentioned that WDW won't be serving lobster at all on site anymore. Something about lobster traps and ocean floor damage. Again, not sure how credible this is, but seems funny the day after this was mentioned to us the news came out about Coral Reef discontinuing this long time dish. I guess we shall see.

I have no info, but assumed it was simply because of the current price for lobster. Even then, lobster bisque is still currently listed on the menu for Les Halles. So hopefully this server was just speculating
