Menu changes at 'Ohana

I thought so too :worried:
I have read loads of counter arguments saying that the chicken was dry and over cooked etc. when we were there last year I have to say the chicken was the best of, steak, pork and shrimp. I'm not a shrimp fan so I'm just down to pork and steak which is why I'm considering changing my ADR.

Only thing is that the starters are still really good and technically all you can eat as well so if all else fails maybe ill just order some extra chicken wings :rotfl2:

Guess its just leaving more room for the delish dessert banana foster pudding* drool*

On the topic of menu changes, the Earl of Sandwich menu has also seen some changes (cuts).

Yes I saw this too!!! It's in that link as well :)

Ah, I didn't click on the link because I'd read about it yesterday. Just read the thread posts.

So many changes in a short time span!

Well, I try to look on the bright side

I had one more "must-do" restaurants than I had TS credits. I was trying to choose between paying OOP for one TS or skipping it

I think that decision has been made just a little bit easier (not done yet 'cause we're 17 months out, lol, but cuts like these will sure play a role in the final decision process)

That is definitely a bummer! We went to Ohana for the first time last November, and being such a big steak and seafood lover I was very surprised that the chicken was my favorite meat on the menu. Oh well I guess that there will be more room in my belly for bread pudding this August. ;)

I personally feel EOS could do with a change we have been going there for 5 years or so and the menu doesn't seem to change much. DH calls it's a glorified subway lol. I do love EOS but think there are better QS places in DTD.

I love their salads. For $6 you can't go wrong :)

I was just pointing out somewhere yesterday that I found a receipt last weekend from a meal we had there in 2009 and even with the price increases, it is only a 50c hike in 5 years! Are we sure EoS is even near to Disney? :rotfl:

Ha ha. I don't think I have ever actually paid in cash for an EOS at WDW. Always DDP.

We went in about 3 years ago while on DDP. Can't see us going in again. It got so many great reviews but we found dry sandwiches ad they would not let us have the drinks we wanted(Vitamin water) we could have anywhere else. Not sure but don't think you got dessert either(maybe very limited choice, I forget)
Definitely the worst CS we have done, rather do Subway anyday.:rotfl2:

Why go to the (almost) always overcrowded EoS when you can go to Wolfgang Puck Express right next door for the same CS credit ?

I wonder ...

That's why I pay cash for our EoS. I really like their salads and often just buy one to take back to the resort with us, just before we hop onto the boat to POFQ. :)

It's not that bad as the line moves quickly plus with all the other big meals sometimes you don't want that much food.

Sandwiches are good and can be customised exactly as you want:thumbsup2

And finally, not everyone has the DDP ;)
