What is more accurate the menu on the Disney app or allears .net. allears states menu updated in July but they are completely different then Disney app.

Not sure how often Disney updates and what is accurate

I have never seen any menu differences on the Disney app compared to the actual menu at the restaurant - at least as long as I check the menus a few weeks out from the trip.

I can think of one time years back where the restaurant overhauled the menu shortly after I booked the ADR - so both apps would have not reflected the changes...fortunately I had browsed back through the menus about a week before I arrived and saw the changes - and changed my booking as the new menu didn't suit me as well.

allears is a third party (I have been using for many years) and while their menus are mostly accurate for the most update menus always use Disney. You can use the app or online Disneyworld clicking on things to do then all dining (as of now that can change as well but been this way for a while).
I know a pain but use allears as a reference then double check the ones you are interested in.

I feel like the menus change so darn frequently anymore that even checking the Disney site a few weeks in advance is no guarantee. I went to Le Cellier in May only to learn the menu had been overhauled 2 days earlier.

The MDE app is accurate.
Keep in mind thogh that just because you saw it on the app today does not mean that the menu will be exactly the same in 2 weeks.
Disney does switch things up here and there but they will update it on the MDE app.

What I use the 3rd party sites for is better description of a menu item if there is not too much description on Disney's menu.

I would expect the app to be correct for that day. I have used the All Ears site looking at menus and so far have not seen many differences compared to the App. However, All Ears os only as good as how recently it was updated and when the last menu updates happened in the park.
