Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

That must have been frustrating! But at least you can laugh about it now, right? right??!!!:lmao:
I'm glad you got some super cute stuff! That's great!!

Everytime you tell a crazy Waldo story I fall more and more in love with him. He is so funny!!!I wish I had him around here to keep me laughing. But then again Waldo is like my dad and he DRIVES ME CRAZY with all his antics:laughing: . I feel your pain.;)
All I can say is tanning makes all look better.:thumbsup2

Waldo is starting to sound more and more like my dad.:sad2:

But he (Waldo) is funny!:lmao:

So are we gonna see the cowboy hat? and the sunglasses?:smooth: I love me some Kohl's! They are ALWAYS having a great sale!

Love the Waldo antics...and the way you spin them!!! Storyteller extraordinaire I tell you!!!

You really need to put together The Waldo show. It would be bigger than Cosby, Cheers and Simpsons all put together. You would make enough money to live at Disney for the rest of your life:lmao:

You know once this trip is over you will need to start a Waldo thread just so we can keep up with his antics:rotfl:

ROFL!! Waldo is freaking high-larious!!! Glad you scored some goodies. That's always nice!
;) It's alway nice to mooch! I tend to squeeze presents out of my whole family for the entire month of June! :teeth:
So which ADR's have you got? I kinda got lost with all the ADR's flying around :rotfl:
So did I, Jo. So did I. Let me pull out my handy dandy ADR spreadsheet. :teacher: I'll be right with you.....

Myself...what the H@ll did Waldo do this time?
Self replies...It's gotta be funny if Tracy is posting.
You know what is sad about that statement? The fact that you instantly knew Waldo was up to no good! :lmao:
Sure enough, you had me running to the potty. You know a girl who's beared some kidlets can only laugh so much... you know this, right?
I'm so sorry!!! I forgot about the weaky wee wee! :lmao:

To bad you didn't get it back...BUT you scored a cowboy hat that Maddie thinks you can't pull off. :lmao:
Yeah, the jury's still out on the hat. I may post a pic and let you guys be brutally honest with me! :scared:

That must have been frustrating! But at least you can laugh about it now, right? right??!!!:lmao:

Everything Waldo does is painful at that moment! But, afterwards, more than likely we all have a good laugh.

Waldo is starting to sound more and more like my dad.:sad2:
Everything is a conspiracy to my dad. It's always Waldo v. the World. According to Waldo the "man" is always try to hold him down! I should right a book of Waldoisms and call it "The World According to Waldo". BTW, I loved Garp!
So are we gonna see the cowboy hat? and the sunglasses?:smooth: I love me some Kohl's! They are ALWAYS having a great sale!
Maybe...:rolleyes1
Love the Waldo antics...and the way you spin them!!! Storyteller extraordinaire I tell you!!!
Sometimes, I wish I was making this stuff up! :sad2:

I can hear the theme song.... it's something like the "Itchy and Scratchy Show"! :rotfl2:

You know once this trip is over you will need to start a Waldo thread just so we can keep up with his antics:rotfl:
Ooooh!!! That's a fantastic idea, Mo! You know someone has a thread on the CB devoted completely to their crazy co-worker! :lmao: It's hilarious!

This is for Jo and Pjv: (and of course anyone who's lost in the shuffle!)

What??? Lover says I've still got 82 days?!?!?! That's ok, I've still got some shopping to do, some ADR's to change, and some serious tanning coming my way! ;)

So with 82 days left, you know I'm just itchin' to change my ADR's around. I'm a little concerned with our IROE cruise and our R&C ADR. First I called WDW-Play to see if I could score an IROE cruise for our last night, but none were available. Hey, why mess with success, right? So I called Dining and fanagled our ADR's 'round. I actually was able to switch our R&C night to our Spoodles night and vice versa. On our IROE cruise night, we now have ADR's for Spoodles at 5:30 ish and if we finish up before 8pm, we can peruse the Boardwalk and/or the Boardwalk resorts. :thumbsup2
That being said, I cancelled all our superfluous ADR's so some other schmuck could grab 'em up. Just kidding, about the schmuck part. :rolleyes1

So this past weekend, The Enabler hit Macy's to take advantage of the Memorial Day sales. WHOA! She came back with some really cute things. Not at all the granny-wear she usually purchases. Nothing had embroidered butterflies or bird-houses! She bought some cute, what I would call "yoga wear". Soft pants and tops with matching zip fronts. KWIM? I loved all the pieces she bought. She even offered to take me right back at that moment and treat me to an early birthday present. :woohoo: I scored some really cute pieces and now have what I call my "travel outfit" :lmao:
I was showing my new things to Andy and Waldo then decided he needed to do some shopping, too. :sad2:

Waldo decided to hit Kohls on Super Senior Wednesday! :lmao: When seniors get an additional 15% off. Of course, I had to tag along to see what I could mooch off my parents. :rolleyes1 Waldo picked up around 5 pairs of shorts and a dozen new shirts. Man, he's worse than a woman! Of couse, the Enabler was at her best. Convincing him not to just get one of those shirts, but to get 2. They are 50% off and it's like getting one for free, practically, right? She did the same to him with the shorts and socks! FDM, The Enabler style!
If you may recall, I had scoped out the hats and glasses before and went back to try on the infamous "cowboy" hat. I ended up deciding, I could pull it off and threw that into the basket. :cool2: I also grabbed some super sweet aviator sunglasses! :cool1: So we go to check out and I just throw my purchases along with Waldo's. Happy Birthday to me, again!

So here comes the moment. The moment that I wish I could shrink down to Alice in Wonderlands size. The scanning of the merchandise..... Every item the poor check out girl scans, Waldo has to check and double check. Well, apparently 2 pairs of his shorts, which before the 50% off were $44 each. After the 50%, they should have rung up to $21.99 according to the sign on the rack, right? Well, of course, the didn't. They rang up $24.99. Yup, $3 more. So, now we've got half a dozen customers behind us and Waldo is huffing and puffing that the sign says $21.99 and the poor girl can't figure out why they're not ringing correctly and tells Waldo that maybe it's because of the color... yada, yada, yada. I can feel the frustration of the poor check out girl and all the people behind us. Now, seriously, $6??? I tell Waldo, to forget about it and just let it go. He'll still get another 15% off the 24.99, right? He's going on and on about how things aren't marked right, and how they jack up the prices to make it look like a sale and really he's paying full price, he read on the internet how these companies are making so much money... blah, blah, blah! Evan is getting pissy, Maddie is hungry, The Enabler is  . So I reach into my pocketbook and grab $6 and give them to Waldo. "Here, now can we go?" I'm about to be on the 11 o'clock news at this point. I finally have to walk away and head out the door. The Enabler and Waldo meet us in the car and then Waldo says, "Oh, these $24 shorts are golf shorts, that's why they're more.! :scared:

Do you think I got my 6 bucks back? Yeah, you're right, I didn't!

So, that's all the update for now. I'm hoping it warms up this weekend so we can open up our pool and I can work on my tan. Gotta hide the thighs somehow!! :rotfl2:

Only 74 days left for me, but I will be leaving on the day of the big Dis Meet:sad2: Your dad sounds alot like my dad, except for he waits until he gets home to check the proce on everything and then we have to drive AAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL the way back to the store to get the price fixed:eek:

$6.00 for a hat and sunglasses, sounds like a good deal to me:rolleyes1

Janet

My dad would totally pay for anything I tried to sneak in too. But he wouldn't argue. He argues about certain things like returns but I've never seen him hagle over the sales price. I like Kohl's but it is hard to tell how much something is sometimes because of the signs and things getting moved around so much. I did find out the other day that if something is buy one get one free than you can mix and match ANY BOGOF items in the store as long as the lower priced item is the free one.

I really want to see that hat! Plus, I would totally subscribe to a Where's Waldo? thread.

What??? Lover says I've still got 82 days?!?!?!
Pssst, I have a confession... I've been moonlighting with your Lover. Yep, me and Mike - we're spending some quality EST time together. :rotfl:
That's ok, I've still got some shopping to do, some ADR's to change, and some serious tanning coming my way! ;)
Do I need to get up on my SPF soapbox, missy?! ;)

So with 82 days left, you know I'm just itchin' to change my ADR's around.
I'd be sorely disppointed if you weren't.

Way to go Enabler! :thumbsup2

T, you're gonna be sooo Hollywood glama! :cool1: Perhaps I'll reconsider my usual pool attire of nasty old baseball hat and oversized T-shirt-turned-cover up. J/K!

The Enabler and Waldo meet us in the car and then Waldo says, "Oh, these $24 shorts are golf shorts, that's why they're more.! :scared: [/QUOTE
:lmao:

So, I'm standing here, vaccuming my house, thinking about how I'm going to score an Illuminations cruise, right? I did everything Lover and the DIS told me to do. Much like the CRT reservation... start calling early... press 2, then press 1... yada, yada, yada. I was remembering how someone had called later in the day as people book cruises and cancel them everyday.
On a whim, if you will I called WDW and I spoke to the nicest person. I asked for a specialty cruise for August 24th. and guess what????? They had 1 left. :faint:

I scored an Illuminations Cruise, BAYBEE!!!!!
 :woohoo:  :woohoo:  :woohoo:

Not our first choice date, but I'll take it!!!! Now the Enabler is laughing at me because I got up so early and ended up scoring a cruise later in the morning. Glad someone finds humor in my pain! :lmao:

Boy, have I got some catching up to do!

I was just scanning through your pre-trippie and noticed that you got the ever elusive Illuminations Cruise and I just had to stop and congratulate you. I cracked up at the mental picture I had of you waking up in the dark and then having to get yourself coherent enough to call WDW, too funny! It's the exact same thing I had to do last trip. I scored too but had to cancel cuz hurricane Charlie had other plans for us. Anyway, glad you got what you wanted.:)

When I do things I shouldn't do, I come here to the DIS to confess to my DIS friends. I know they will not judge, they will understand and be forgiving.:flower3:

So, here's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me Mickey.

It all started a few days ago. Maddie was standing next to me and I looked down and noticed her toe peeking out of the front hole. Now, most of you know I went CROC crazy and ordered somewheres in the neighborhood of 12 pair for the family. Well Maddie was the happy recipient of 3 of those 12. Both pair of her caymans are too small. She's got another inch before the MJ's are too small. I don't get that part... all three are 9/10. :confused3

Have I lost anyone? I hope not... stay with me here. popcorn::

With Evan, I ordered him 3 pair; 1 disney cayman 6/7 & 1 scutes 6/7 and another disney cayman 8/9 (just in case!). BTW, love the scutes for babies! :thumbsup2 Well, I've been all over the internet trying to find CROCS at a bargain price for both kids. Shoebuy doesn't have ANY colors in their size and I have a flipping coupon. Amazon doesn't either and the coupon I have for shoes(dot)com doesn't apply to CROCS.

So, what do you think I did?

Yup. ::yes::

I went to the CROCS website and bought 3 pair.

At full price! :scared1:

With shipping charges! :scared:

I know, I know!! WTH was I thinking? I'm a desperate woman, I needed the CROCS situation handled before it got to close to t-time!

Whew.... I feel better now. At least I can sleep with a clear conscience, tonight! :teeth:

A QUICK SHOUT OUT TO MY BROTHER, DONALD!!
Just in case he reads this.... but let's hope he doesn't! :lmao:

:bday: HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY!!!:cake:

No worries....you know no matter what you buy, here you are safe. Besides...you are not spending my money...so it's all good!!!

What kinda Crocs didya get????

I'm kinda feeling the same way. At first I thought about how you still have 2 whole months and then I thought, "Hey, it's not my money!" Go for what causes you the least amount of stress. I'm busy stressing myself on how I waited too long to get a swimsuit and now I can't find anything decent in my size. I was just gonna be happy with the ONE that I have but I've promised the kids two trips a week to the pool for the rest of the summer and tried to look for a second one tonight. Now that's stress! Swimsuit shopping in June! :teeth:

:rotfl2: You crack me up :rotfl2: I know I probably have but have I told you that crocs sell over here for £30 that is $60  So you probably got off lightly :thumbsup2

Hey Tracy
Dont worry your secret is safe here:thumbsup2
Sometimes we just get a little crazy and do some stuff we ordinarily wouldnt do, it happens:confused3 (alot at my house). All you have to do is goto Target and get a really good deal on something( anything even if you dont need it) and it will make up for the full retail of the croc mishap. Then it is justified!!:lmao:
Ya know what... Im sure you even have something stashed away somewhere that was a great bargain and you can whip that out..whaaaaalaaaaa nothing to feel bad about.
DS4 feet grow so quicky we outgrow several pairs a season. I went through 7 pairs not including winter snow boots this winter. These kiddies are growin like weeds.

Don't you have a birthday this month too?:confused3 I HAD the date somewhere...now I can't find it. I'm still looking though. Or you could just tell me and make it easy on me.

WOW - you paid retail. Shocking!:scared1: I may be right there with ya Sista...Michael's are already getting too small...:sad2:

Wow - first you guessed wrong...WAY wrong on our little trivia question and now this...what's going on????
