Wow!! What a nice surprise to come home to find all these super birthday wishes. I think I'll stay 35 from now on. :teeth:

I've got to load all my pics into my photobucket account and then I'll tell you all about it! Well, after I catch up on all of todays posts on all of your threads. ;)
Just a little morsel:
We only "lost" Waldo a minimum amount of times today, surprisingly. The 1st time not 5 minutes out of the gate! :sad2:

Stay tuned...popcorn::

LY guys!!!! Mean it!:grouphug:

I hope you had a really HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :bday: :cake: party:  :flower: :flower1: :wave2: :flower3:  :hippie:

I knew that I read about Waldo somewhere and it was here. Then stupid me didn't subscribe so I gots me about a zillion pages to catch up with. Now to figure out where I previously left off...

By the way, where's the cookies?

Being as sneaky as possible, I flipped all the checks over for his endorsement. I told them they were all rebate checks. Yes, I am the rebate Queen, so he's used to me asking him to sign. I got the checks in the bank this afternoon and came home and transferred our "secret stash" into our savings account! Whooo Hoooty!!! Free at last, free at last... yada yada yada!! One speed bump cleared...bring 'em on, baby!
I wanted to hurry up and catch up but I couldn't resist responding to this one from way back in March. You actually have DH sign the checks? I don't. I just sign for him. Bank doesn't care as long as it's deposited. Only 1 check do I have him sign and that's the NYS income tax refund. Don't want any trouble with that one!!!

Ok, here we go.....

The night before our Disneyland birthday extravaganza, Waldo had called Big-O tires to set up dropping his car there for new tires. So in the morning, he was going to do that, and we'd swing by and pick him up. Thankfully the place was on the way to Disneyland and it wouldn't interfere with travel plans. We had an 9:20 ADR at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. I wanted to be out of the house by 8:30. Even though we live 10 minutes away on a good day, there have been times it's taken me almost an hour to get there and I didn't want to push fate this day. ::yes::
We're in the car by 8:15 and make bank stops. Traffics a little heavy and we're to the tire store by 8:30. Waldo jumps in and away we go. Of course, not before Waldo starts with his back seat driving. All of a sudden, he stops mid-sentence. And says, "I'm not gonna tell you anything." Everyone is suddenly quiet.... and then I break out laughing telling Waldo, "That's the best gift ever!!! Your silence is grand!!:lmao: We have a great laugh and we're on the freeway to my happy place! We make in to the parking lot in 5 minutes, park the car, pull out Evan's stroller, buckle Evan in and *poof*! It happens. Evan and Waldo are gone. Man that was record time. I have Andy race down the parking lot, because we are not heading the same way as the rest of the salmon. :fish: We're not going to the park tram, we have to walk across the street to the hotel. For some reason Waldo thought we were eating at the Grand Californian. :sad2: You know why he thought that? I'll tell you why. Because he doesn't listen!
Andy catches Waldo at the stroller elevator and they double back and meet us at the stairs to the walkway to the hotel. Now Waldo insists we should take the tram and I have to explain to him that the big building infront of us with the big red letters that spell out D-I-S-N-E-Y-L-A-N-D-H-O-T-E-L is where we're heading. He's still all mixed up.:headache:

We make it to Goofy's Kitchen and we check in and pay. The CM tells us we will be seated in 10 minutes. Everyone else takes a seat in the holding pen and I go park the stroller. I come back and this is what I see. Do you see what is wrong with this picture?

tracysdisneypics66001.jpg

Yup, I count heads, 1, 2, 3, 4, ..... I ask Andy, "Where's Waldo??" Andy looks around and gives me the :confused3 . Count 'em. Ok, we've been out of the car for 15 minutes and we've lost Waldo 2 times!! :faint: It's gonna be a long day!

tracysdisneypics66002.jpg

Oh, lookie... here he is. He claims he went for a walk in the lobby and only found elevators to the hotel rooms. Uh.... Waldo, we aren't in the main building, there is not lobby. :rolleyes1

Within 5 minutes we are seated and everyone scrambles to the buffet. Ok, here's a quick dining review. Two words: Supercalifragilistically DELISH! :thumbsup2: This is the best Disney breakfast buffet I have ever eaten at. They had some excellent dishes! Just to name a few: French Toast creme brulee, breakfast frittata, breakfast enchiladas, Eggs benedict, salmon with a wonderful pesto sauce. They also had the regular breakfast fixings, eggs, bacon, Mickey Waffles & pancakes, tons of pastries, fruit, cereals and also a really nice salad bar and bagels and lox station. If you ever come to Disneyland this is a must do buffet!
Some pics:

We finished our meal and Waldo and I were presented Birthday cupcakes and buttons from Alice!
ninisdisneypics66004.jpg

ninisdisneypics66005.jpg

I was so stuffed, but I took the obilgatory bite, so as not to look ungrateful. Oh, my! This was no ordinary cupcake. It was a little piece of chocolate heaven covered in a wonderful dark chocolate ganache! :cake: Yummy!!

But, Evan and I had a date.... with a white mountain and snowman, of the abominable sort. :teeth:

Up Next: What do you mean, we can't ride Nemo? We're passholders!

OMG - is it possible? Am I first? Not by the time I post this!

I can't believe you lost Waldo TWICE within such a short time! What a cool birthday though! Don't leave us hanging! More please! Quick - I have to pack!!!!

And may I just say that Maddie looks BEEEEUUUUUTIIIIIFUL!!!!

I am so glad you had a great time. It is so nice that your DH takes time off for occasions like this. Sometimes it feels like we hardly see ours.Although DH did come home early(430p) for DS4 bday today. Wish we got to see him more.
Anywhooo-I cant believe Waldo got lost in the 1st 2 mins out of the car:rotfl:
Does he ever cease to amaze you?
I am soooo jealous you are soooooooo close to DL.
As always kiddies are cute as buttons and cant wait to hear about the rest of the day.

Sorry to go off topic here but..............

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY to my little man!!!!!!

party: :bday: party: :cake:

You are FIRST! Yay for LL! :yay: You know I got that Princess costume at BBB last year and she wears it almost everytime we go to Dland! I've totally gotten my money's worth! :cool1:

OMG! I forgot you're going to pick up your Vette this weekend, eh? Have a safe trip, my friend! "Talk" to you when you get back! LY,MI!

ONLY TWICE:confused3

I'm impressed, oh wait it's still early isn't it:rotfl:

Girl, it's only been minutes since we touched down! :lmao:

I've been super crazy busy, but I'll get to it tonight or tomorrow! :surfweb:

OMG! I forgot to tell you guys about the carnie folk on Tuesday!!!! I'll have to do that after my DLand trip report within a pre-trip report. ;)

I hear ya, T. It's not always easy for him to take the time off and he does miss alot of the fun time. And the kids sure know how lay the guilt trip on thick!
Does he ever cease to amaze you?
Never! :lmao:
I am soooo jealous you are soooooooo close to DL.
I'll trade you for your DVC! :goodvibes

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY to my little man!!!!!!

party: :bday: party: :cake:

Whoo HOOOOO!!!! Give your little man a birthday high five for me! :woohoo:
:bday:

We finished up our yummy brunch, take a potty break and head to the DTD monorail. I give the CM my pass and she wishes me a Happy Birthday! Cool! She tells me the computer shows it's my birthday today. :teeth: We head up just as Monorail purple (Maddie's fav) pulls in. We're at the last gate and the CM asks if we want to ride the rear car. Score! :pixiedust: for us! My kids love riding either the front or the back. The view is awesome!
Picture time:
Maddie and Evan enjoying the view:

Me and Waldo (Here's the cowboy hat I bought, what do you think? Keep it or toss it?)
tracysdisneypics66009.jpg

As we pull into the station, we notice the new Nemo ride is up and the subs are running!:woohoo: We head down the stairs and notice the sign says something like "Annual Passholders Preview". :cool1: Super sweet!! We head over to the almost non-existant line and are stopped. Dead in our tracks. You need a special ticket that you win from an online contest. Rats! We turn around and head to Evan's newest favorite, Matterhorn. We all get in line and Maddie starts to fret. She hates fast rides, dark rides, remotely scary rides.... the list goes on. I tell Andy to go score us some Space Mountain FP's with Maddie and rest of us will ride with Evan. We plow through that ride in about 15 minutes and meet up with Andy who has 4 FP's with a 2pm return! :scared1: It's Maddies turn, so she choses IASW. :sad2:
ninisdisneypics66007.jpg

I notice there is no line, so we head on over and have a 2 minute wait. Here's where we experience disgruntled CM ride operator. THis broad was a super biatch! I've never seen a CM scream at people they way she was and yelling at them like they were morons. After being tortured for 15 minutes, we exit the ride and the kids want to ride Autopia. Now, here's where I have to admit I am spoiled. The park is filling in rather quickly. The wait for Autopia is 30 minutes. Forget it! We try Buzz... again.... 30 minutes. We'll pass. The park is unusually crowded. And I don't do crowded.
We decide to leave the Dland and head over to DCA. It's always less crowded than DLand and I wasn't up to dealing with the crowds today. We enter DCA and head over to Bugs Land. THe Enabler notices all the fruit tree and Maddie strikes a pose for The Enabler.
ninisdisneypics66009.jpg

And that's when I noticed the questionable fruit. I know what I'm thinking, when all of a sudden Andy bursts out in laughter, followed by Waldo. I know EXACTLY what they are laughing at. Anyone else?
peaches.jpg

:lmao: :lmao:
We head into a very empty Bug's Land and make our way through the rides at Flicks Funtime Fair. This area is super cute! I love it! :cloud9:
Here's Maddie and I on Heimlichs Chew Chew Train (sp?)
tracysdisneypics66011.jpg

Next The Enabler and Maddie hit Francis' ladybug ride:
tracysdisneypics66012.jpg

(think Mad tea party, in a much smaller scale)

Evan is getting whiney, so I as Meeska or G-luv would say I offer him an incentive to behave and I would buy him some soda and fries. :teeth:
Up next we head over to the Boardwalk area and Maddie & The Enabler ride the Jumpin' Jellyfish. Evan's too short, so Waldo, Andy and I take him over to the gift shop. I ask him if he would like a new hat and I don't get an answer. I look down and he's out. :cloud9:
Andy grabs us some FP's for Mullholland Madness (think Primeval Whirl, without the whirl and hurl ;) ) We have about a half hour to kill. Andy buys Maddie some Pink Princess Mickey ears, while she's riding the jellyfish. He sure loves to feed into her pink princess obsession. princess: She's so not like me.:rotfl:
So with Evan out, it's all Maddie choice. Of course she picks the Wheel of Death, or more specifically, The Sun Wheel. If anyone is not familiar with this ride, it's this enormous ferris wheel type ride, but instead of regular seats, it has gondolas that are either swinging or non-swinging. I rode this once when I was pregnant with Evan and I freaked out. It's very slow and very unsettling. No one else wanted to ride, except for The Enabler and I didn't want them to ride alone, so I left Evan with Andy and Waldo and got in line. We load the gondola and we're off into the clear blue sky. I'm actually ok with it. But guess who starts to freak out and cry?

Coming soon....... popcorn::

Okay, first off, I have to say that I love the cowboy hat! I understand your affliction with it though. I never wanted to be 'that person', but I sure can pull off that dang cowboy hat, and, girl, so can you! KEEPER!

Second, I want to say that you couldn't get me on that "Wheel of Death." We totally called it something similar when we were at DCA!

That fruit is hysterical! WTH??!

Your kids are just too too precious!

I can't believe Waldo "got lost" in the parking lot. Sheesh!:rotfl:

*poof*! It happens. Evan and Waldo are gone. Man that was record time.
Already! :rotfl2:

You know why he thought that? I'll tell you why. Because he doesn't listen!
Selective hearing? :rotfl:

Cute photo but who's the pretty lady in the black T-Shirt :confused3 It can't be you because she's not wearing sunnies :lmao:

I give the CM my pass and she wishes me a Happy Birthday! Cool! She tells me the computer shows it's my birthday today. :teeth:
That's cool!

Me and Waldo (Here's the cowboy hat I bought, what do you think? Keep it or toss it?)
tracysdisneypics66009.jpg
Oh there you are I recognise you now with your sunglasses on :rotfl: The hat looks good with your long dark hair you can definately pull it off :thumbsup2

And that's when I noticed the questionable fruit. I know what I'm thinking, when all of a sudden Andy bursts out in laughter, followed by Waldo. I know EXACTLY what they are laughing at. Anyone else?
Nope don't see anything rude there :rolleyes1

Ok, here we go.....
For some reason Waldo thought we were eating at the Grand Californian. :sad2: You know why he thought that?
Becasue he doesn't listen?
Because he doesn't listen!
Thought so. ;)

We make it to Goofy's Kitchen and we check in and pay. The CM tells us we will be seated in 10 minutes. Everyone else takes a seat in the holding pen and I go park the stroller. I come back and this is what I see. Do you see what is wrong with this picture?

:faint: You had me at "French Toast Creme Brulee"!
