men wearing capris

I personally dont think men should wear capris.

I showed this thread to my DH and he said "Hell no!!! What, do you think I am a woman?"

I think they are a bit odd looking, particularly when most guys I know wear longer shorts. I don't even like all women in all capris though. I don't think people realize you need the right length for your body size and height (shorty me can only wear them if they are *just* below the knee).

omgosh, this is so funny, because while working for cbs at colonial golf tourney the last two years, i have seen the same guy wearing what i can only call real capris.

white denim pants, straight legged all the way down to just about 1/3 calf length. i think they even had the little 3/4 inch slit in the hems. if i remember right he wears white keds tennys with them. first time i saw him i said "no way" and thought that this is very gutsy look to adopt in cowtown, usa.

DH won't even try on a pair of Crocs to see how comfy they are. He thinks they're just wrong on guys. We saw lots of men wearing them in Hawaii in all colors (black, khaki, red, orange). But I had to agree with him when I saw one guy wearing the hot pink ones. That was a little over the top!

I don't blame him!! I think guys wearing crocs are so funny, they look SO feminine in them no matter whant color crocs they are trying to wear!

Most of the men that I work with at the hospital wear Crocs. Why? Comfort.
Doctors, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, etc. I see nothing wrong with that. Try being on your feet for 12/16 hours and see what I mean. My DH wears Crocs now because I do and he loves them because he has bad ankles.

Crocs are just silly looking shoes on everyone, IMHO. I wear a pair everyday at some point in my day. I wear them because they are comfy.

To me a Capri on a man=floods. But more offensive to my eyes are men that wear black leather slides on their feet.

(Now I am sure I have hurt people's eyes with some of the stuff I wear too)

For real Polo is heavy into straight legged pants including leggings for men.
I have two college sons who can do metro, prep and trendy very well and I doubt I could convince them to wear this look even though I can see it looking good on either of them.The capri look not the tights.

I saw this two years ago in Mexico. All the European men were wearing them. They were more fitted to the leg though. Very slim. I didn't find it a particularly good look. I haven't seen anyone in the states wearing them.

The line needs to be drawn somewhere, and I think just before capri's for men is where it should be drawn. But hey, that's just my opinion.

To these and the white pants above. These look like something DH might run a marathon in during the winter.

I do not mind the khaki pants that were shown. DH's legs aren't long enough for long shorts, let alone capris.
