the greatest shaving gel in the entire world! It's a product by a company named Jack Black. The product is Beard Lube Conditioning Shave With Jojoba and Eucalyptus. I know, very weird name but I found it in a specialty store and the girl behind the counter said it was stuff men swear by. I was sold and forked over the expensive money for it. I fell in love. I don't have to use aftershave anymore because it's a preshave conditioner, shaving gel, and aftershave all rolled into one. It also goes on clear so you can see where your shaving and what you've missed. And the way my face feels afterwards is unbelievable!

I've been hooked on it since last October. The only downside for most is the price which is $15, but I shave almost everyday I just started my second bottle of it this week. The way I figure with the price is that I don't spend near enough to look good for women as they do for us. My shampoo is like $1.50 and I buy Mach 3 turbo blades and cheap hair gel. So a $15 bottle of shaving cream isn't that bad. And ladies if your reading this, buy some for your husband, he'll thank you. My ex girlfriend loved how my face felt after I shaved. Here is the link to the website. They have some other cool products I'd like to try too. But I'll always stick with the beard lube! :teeth:

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, Sorry, Sorry.

Don't mean to take over your thread, but I just wanted to say that my Boyfriend started using Aveeno:Shave Less Often Shaving Gel. (the one with the blue/cream label) and he says it really does make you shave less often. He was like you, an everyday shaver now he can go every two or three days before he has to shave.

Just my little addition to your Public Service Announcement.

LOL sorry I tried that too! :teeth: I actually noticed no difference for me with Aveeno. But then again like my roomate says, I get a 3 o'clock shadow. Aveeno smelled funny to me too. Plus I have sensitive skin so I had to use aftershave with Aveeno. With Jack Black I don't. :)

thanks kyle. :) like you, dh is an everyday shaver with sensitive skin. maybe i will get him some for v-day. :)

Is it only good on the face?

Hmmmm ladies, this might be a nice Valentine gift for the men in your life.

Directly from the website. You can't beat it.

Beard Lube
Conditioning Shave
With Jojoba and Eucalyptus

Beard Lube is really different from whipped-cream style foams and gels. It is a pre-shave oil, shave cream and skin conditioner, all in one. Jojoba and macadamia nut oil help prepare your beard by penetrating and softening whisker growth. The lightweight formula provides a thin, lubricating layer to hold-in moisture so the blade glides easily through your whiskers, while eucalyptus and peppermint refresh your skin. This means an easier, smoother shave, and less razor burn. The unique see-through texture lets you see your face while you're shaving, helping to prevent nicks and cuts (its also great to shave around the line of facial hair, such as side burns or a mustache.) And, Beard Lube won't clog your blade, because it's super light and rinses easily. Fragrance-free. Colorant-free.

How do I use it?
Work a quarter-sized amount of Beard Lube into your slightly moist beard. Beard Lube has built-in moisture, so you don't need a lot of water. Glide razor over face. Rinse with warm water. You'll really feel the difference on your skin.

What's in it?
Macadamia Nut Oil, Jojoba Oil and Glycerin provide a lubricating, protective cushion
Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Menthol refresh and revitalize skin
Heather helps calm and soothe skin

Are you sure it was just not the girl behind the counter who did a sales job on you, Kyle? :p :teeth:

Oh I know it was her...she was just too cute! ;)

Personal question: Just how sensitive is your skin? My poor DH has extremely sensitive skin. Shaving would make his skin so red and that was with an electric razor. Though I wouldn't be able to tell him how much the stuff costs.

my skin isn't that sensitive. but I would highly recommend Jack Black. It leaves my face so cool and refreshed, I actually enjoy shaving now and I used to hate it.
