I love the new uniforms for NOPD. There are some fine looking officers in front of my home right now.

Mardi Gras on St. Charles has been great so far. I have not been here for Mardi Gras in decades.

I have no idea what Canal is like, but the uptown area is sort of like a big tailgate party. People are so nice and friendly.

I don't know about those new uniforms arminnie. The old ones were so distinctive, now the cops look like they could be from anywhere USA.

I do understand why they had to do it though. I guess it'll take some getting used to.

Are you going to see the two super krewes tomorrow? I can't wait!

Maybe it's because they were so cute! I'm going to a friend's house on Napoleon to watch Bacchus and Endymion tomorrow.

I just loved the atmosphere today. Everyone was having such a good time.

hi minnie,, we were in n'orleans last saturday (the 18th) for about 5 hours,, ate at gumps about 5 then hung around bourbon street till abouit9 and headed back to hattiesburg, would have been there for the parades but the guy we rode with got lost and went way to far west before he cut back south, we got into town as the last parade of the day was ending.

Froggie - after 40 years I still get lost here - easy to do.

Mardi Gras was GREAT. I loved every minute of it.
