How intense is Men in Black? My kids love Thunder Mountain and Buzz Lightyear, but Space Mountain is a bit too much. How would they do on Men in Black?
It is like Buzz Lightyear on Steroids! You shoot aliens(cardboard cut-outs mostly), but you can also shoot other cars(two cars are competing for the best score) If the other team shoots the top of your car, your car spins around. At the end of the ride, your car spends around really fast too.
Your kids will probably love it. It's my favorite ride in US.
The cardboard cut-outs are only in the training section. After that they are REAL ALIENS! (They're just animatronics, but still, they look ugly)
The MiB zappers are very mobile, you can turn and aim at anything in the "playing field." Hitting certain aliens causes certain show effects to trigger. Remember to shoot the head (that's where a lot of sensors are).
Agree - love it!!! My oldest wouldn't try most rides at 3.5, but tried MIB and loved it. I think he must have done it 8 times in a row!! My oldest is now 6.5 and still loves MIB - but wasn't 100% sure on Space Mountain. (He went on SM, but once was enough).
DS became an expert when we went for the first time last year. His car always won and people thought his screen was malfunctioning when he would be in the 8 and 900,000 range, LOL. We both read the MIB sticky on this board, but I never got past 500,000
We used the single rider line and rode MIB about 6-7 times an hour for 2 hours one day, LOL. The ride operator finally asked us if we knew there were other rides in the park
How does it compare to Toy Story Mania? Considering skipping TSM altogether if MIB is equally good or better. We haven't been to WDW in several years and are going to both US and DW this April. I've heard the lines are super-crazy for TSM, was hoping the same wasn't true for MIB. However, we aren't staying onsite so will not have FOTL privileges.

TSM is very high tech and it's worth at least one try. MIB is excellent as well and isn't as busy as TSM.
Even if the line is long, you can always try single rider. If you get there at park opening and head straight there, you can usually get on right away (since everyone else heads to Shrek/Jimmy/HRRR since they're right there).
