Has anyone done a memory maker share recently? We leave in 2 weeks and I want to ask friends/family that are going at the same time to split it, but I don't want them to lose their chance to buy it if a share is no longer possible.

Only one person can download the photos, but aside from that there's nothing to stop a share. Put each other on your MDE family & friends page and share the memory maker. You just need to coordinate how you're going to get the photos out to everyone.

Technically if you share your log in information anyone can download them. At least that worked back in April

"Whoever is on the same reservation as the person designated in My Disney Experience as having the Memory Maker “entitlement” can scan their MagicBand to get ride/dining pics. New people can be assigned the entitlement as long as no pics have been downloaded yet."

This is from the above link, so if my SIL and MIL are in two different rooms from me, but are link in MDE to me, they can scan their bands?

Adding to this question....my friend bought MM. We are not on the same reservation, but are 'friends' on our DME accounts. Exactly what photos will I be able to get? Someone told me the regular photopass photos are fine but not the attraction photos. Just want to be prepared as to what to expect. If I want an attraction photo, do I jot down the number and give it to him to download later in the day?

I just participated in a share a couple of weeks ago and downloaded pics this past weekend. I wasn't the lead person, but I'll tell you what I know.

The lead person created a dummy MDE account and purchased the memory maker package from that, not her real MDE account (we didn't know eachother except through facebook, I guess you can skip this part if you all are friends). We paid her through paypal and she added us as her friends/family(I believe we had to accept her request on MDE), then emailed us all the log-in info for that dummy account. We all had different dates within a two week period so she told us the "active" dates, and that we should not download anything until 10/18.

While in the parks, I had many photos taken(had my band scanned) and ride photos showed up automatically(they detect your band). I could see them in the dummy MDE account. I was a little nervous that this wouldn't work, but it did. If you want to take precautions, you could just use a photopass card and manually add it to the account, but the bands were fine for us, and it was just DH and I so I wasn't overly concerned about missing photos.

On 10/19, I went in and added borders, edited my photos, then downloaded them to my laptop so I could do what I wanted with them. Obviously the other participants photos were in the MDE account too, I just sorted my own out.

This was a great option for us as I wasn't planning to purchase MM this trip since it was just two of us (and me solo for a while), but I got some great photos as a result.
