We are trying to decide if we should purchase memory maker for our upcoming trip. I had a few questions...
Does memory maker include standard Disney photos for example pictures of the castle, parades, etc?
Does anyone know if there is a photographer at BOG dinner or at The Garden Grill?
Is there a place where there are photographers taking Christmas background photos?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have seen nutcracker background photos being taken in the courtyard in front of the train station in both November 2014 and 2010. Can't speak to other years.

1. Yes there are stock photos included
2. No photographer at GG. There is one with The Beast at BOG dinner
3. Yes there are several Christmas trees with photographers stationed, if not at all times, most times. Even resorts have them

So I was reading about the MM and it says only the acct holder can link ride pictures how does this work for other people in my party. Not understanding.

That's not true. Anyone who is on the Friends and Family list of the account holder can have their pictures linked. There's a sensor at the point where the picture is taken that detects their Magic Bands.

We are sharing the MM this time around, with family and I am a little concerned. I "manage" the accounts for our little family group, which includes kids, and no one else in that group has what I would consider full MDE accounts, just their Magic Bands, which are linked for our FPs and ADRs. I rec'd the invitation to link with the person responsible for purchasing our MM. So far so good...but I am worried that our ride photos and such won't be added to the MM, particUlarly if I am not on the ride. Or if we split up and others get their pictures taken.

I find the instructions and information kind of vague and more than a little iffy when it comes to this. Any words of wisdom... Or caution?

I guess I am really wondering How would the MM account holder send invitations to link accounts with the other members of my family, as there no attached emails, etc? Or does this have to be done?

Yes, you need to invite all of the people on you friend and family list to be a member of the share. If you do this their pictures will appear

They do this using the invite function on the master account

Hi AngiTN,

Thanks for chiming in with some info! Of course, now I have another question... If the person holding the MM account has to use their invite function to share with the additional members in my family group, how does that work? They haven't, and won't be setting up individual accounts so they won't get any notification via email, nor have the option to accept.

They don't have to have accounts. I can't remember the exact wording but if they go in to the area where you invite users they will see an options to invite friends and family of others in the group

Thanks again so much! Getting crazy excited now as each detail falls into place.

I'm not certain I fully understood the question & answers, so I'm going to post my experience in case phrasing it a different way is helpful. . .

When I used MM with a family group, Grandpa bought MM and he "invited" me (and all other MDE account holders) to plan & share so that we were all listed as Family & a Friends. In turn, I "managed" all the kids and adults on the trip who did not have MDE accounts themselves and therefore can't be sent an invitation. Kind of like a family tree, with grandpa up top, then me as the "family/friend", then everyone else looks like they're alll my kids :crazy2:

No matter who scanned their magic band at a photog, no matter what combination of people was on a ride together, all of our pictures were captured and included in our group MM.

The only oddity was that under my own MDE I was able to view all posed photos but couldn't see the ride photos. Grandpa could see everything in his login. It worried me at first, til we understood what was happening, but really didn't matter since the MM purchaser has to do all the final downloads from his account anyway.

Great exexplanation for all of us who struggle with Disneys' documentation.

Only the person who purchased the MM will be able to see ride photos. The only work around Ive found for this is to have the purchaser download the photo and email it to you. Or you could get their log in info and log in and download it to your computer yourself. I believe anyone who is linked can scan their band at the ride photo points and get them on the MM though. They have actual spots at the end of the ride where you can scan your band.
