I've searched and read information over the last few days, but sadly I need another thread as I am just not finding all the answers I need. Sorry to add another

We are having character meals at O'hana, Hollywood and Vine, and Akershus. From what I am seeing O'hana definitely participates. Akershus is most likely? They already include a photo, but will also add to your MM? Does this mean at Hollywood and Vine there is nobody to take photos but me? My boys are still Disney Junior ages so that is where they will recognize the characters. Due to all the character meals, we were not planning to wait for many character greets.

Is there a list somewhere with all the magic shot options around and where to look? All three of mine want the baby Simba picture, but if I'm going to get my $$ worth with MM I want as many as I can track down.

Most recent ride list? The ride photos are what I was really excited about, it will be my kids first time on any type of roller coaster/fast ride. I really want to be able to see their faces (especially since I will not even be riding most, but waiting with my littlest). However the only fastpass+ we booked that are included is Test Track and Buzz Lightyear. I'm not saying we won't try others, but only if the stand by line is reasonable. We are also booked for Thunder Mountain and The Mine Train, any chance they've been added?

What happens if your band doesn't connect to photos? I've seen a few stories where no photos linked to the band. If that happens it would be sad to lose the pictures, but I am planning to use my own camera as well...but is it true Disney won't refund the $$ if the system malfunctions? How often does it really occur?

Finally how difficult is it to download the photos? From the resort? At home? I will only have my Iphone with me, but of course will love to check out the pictures on it each day. At home I plan to transfer them all onto a USB drive. Is this an easy thing to do, or will I need to research it?

For dining photos, there is only a PP photographer before the meal to take a group photo. At Akershus they have one for the photo with Belle before the meal. HOWEVER, there is no PP photographer to take pictures during the meal with the other characters you meet- so at Akershus, for example, you would be on your own to take pics with the other princesses who visit your table.

Just ask each photographer who has a camera not on a tripod to see if they can do the magic shots.

I know at MK there are pictures for Buzz, Splash, and Space Mountain. As of the other day, there were still no pictures for BTMRR or 7DMT. At Epcot, there is Test Track. At HS there is TOT. At AK there is Dinosaur and EE. I might have missed a couple, but those are the ones I remember getting.

If the band doesn't connect the photos, you can call PP technical support and they can search for the pictures for you. I have 2 sets of missing pictures from my trips this summer (so far) that they were unable to locate. To give you some reference, though, I still have OVER 1200 pictures that did show up on my account, and these are BEFORE edits. I don't know if Disney would refund or not. If you do download any of the pictures I would assume they wouldn't, as that is how the MM entitlement is redeemed. The system is DEFINITELY not perfect, but I am at least IN every picture that is taken.

I didn't have an issue downloading the photos to my laptop. They are downloaded in a zip file. I did not try at the resort because I was having enough trouble editing them with the slow connection, but at home it was no problem. Also you should be able to see the pictures on you Iphone, but I was not able to do any edits on my Ipad, I had to use my laptop for that (apparently Google Chrome is the most friendly browser for the MM site according to tech support). You shouldn't have any trouble putting them on a USB drive.

The baby Simba shot was discontinued a few months ago FYI and can no longer be taken.
