Memory Maker Question

We just purchased the Memory Maker online. It's showing that its linked and assigned. We just received a card in the mail as well. Do I need to do anything with the card? The number on the card doesn't match the number that is linked as well.

I was told it's better to use the MagicBand and not worry about the card. The card, I guess, is for people without MagicBands. The CM said the only way the Dwarf Mine Train photo shows up is if you have a Band.
