Memory Maker Question

I'm thinking about buying Memory Maker for our upcoming trip - I normally don't buy any photo packages but I have purchased a few pictures here and there from PhotoPass. Considering how much those prints were, the $149.00 deal sounds pretty good.

So how does this work? It's connected to my magic band right? What about my parents band? Their reservation is linked in my account - would they be able to use it also?

Also, what about ride photo's? how do I get those?

Thanks!

If you have memory Maker linked to your account and have all people in your party linked to your account, the photos will show up. This would include those scanned on Magic Bands and the automatic photos and videos from certain rides.

Thanks...

So if all of us go on a ride together, am I going to see 3 pictures? (one for each of us?)

You may just have one if you are all in the same car together as the picture is of the car you are in. We have always felt it was worth it to get Photopass or MM, I have never come home with less than 500 pictures during a week long vacation. One year we had a large group (18) all linked together and had 1800 pictures before we added frames and autographs to them. And we could all be in the pictures not standing behind the camera taking the shots!~

Adding to the last post, you will see all pictures for those in your party who are added to the account where the Memory Maker is added. If more than one magic band is in included in the same picture, you may only see one picture (or it may be duplicated at times as of our last trip in August)

If you are deciding, I can tell you that we only purchased Photo Pass prints in the old system on the fist of around 15 trips and never bought again. We did Memory maker last trip and loved it. We have it again for our trip in a few weeks.

I think i'm sold on buying the Memory Maker this time around. We are doing two Christmas parties just for the characters so it will be beneficial to have it.

Thanks!

im considering it as well only my drawback is that i bring my nikon camera, as well as my phone will only so far be doing 1 park day 1 firework cruise and I'm working on 1 character meal. I've poured a lot into this trip so not sure if i can afford memory maker :,(

I had it for an 8 day trip with 12 people and thrilled that we got it. Id never have bought ride photos otherwise, but They are fun to have included. I've bought the old photopass in the past (before calling it memory maker) with a group of 6 on 5-8 day trips and didn't necessarily think it was worth it then. We didn't get that many pictures and not all turn out great anyway - didn't feel like we got bang for our buck.

On a 1 day trip, I might suggest you skip it - photopass photographers will happily use your camera to take a picture of you if you ask; at chars yet meals you use your own camera anyway (no photopass photog present); and you could still buy a few ride photos & spend less than $150.

i think you're right, this is a very special trip but for just one day at the park i can like you said ask them to use my camera as well as the magic band photo pass thats free service just in case they get anything good and I'm hoping ride photos will show up even if you don't buy MM but you have option to buy the ride photos through photo pass where all other photos show up.
and also like you said 2 ride photos and a few of the photographers photos of moments still cheaper than 150$

maybe next trip lol
