Memory maker question

I added this to our vacation package and have it assigned to me in my MDE account. I want to make sure that all in our party ( 7 of us) are linked to it so that if we get separated, we can have all the pics.
Does anyone know how I do this?

I've been told that if all members are linked in MDE to the same package that has the memory maker everyone will be able to have pictures taken and have access to the pictures online. I too have a memory maker for an upcoming trip but it's my first time so I'm not sure how it works entirely.

Memory maker is the ability to download photos and so cannot be linked to more than one person. It'd be like trying to assign a one day park hopper to eight people.

It's a package with memory maker. A package with dining plan applies to all members of the party and not Memory maker?

Perhaps I need to call and double check I might have misunderstood.

mmmmm... so when we had photo pass in the past, we were able to get 2 cards and then link them at home so that we could have everyone's pictures together and on 1 cd.. are you saying now, that they will only 'scan' my magic band to get the pics to my package? I was hoping that anyone in my party could have their band scanned and we could then have all the pics together

This is how I understood it to work. I'm searching around now trying to find it.

Make sure all the people are on your MDE account. That is either on your reservation or as a friend. Then make sure the permissions allow you to view and purchase their photos. Just is this and as long as their bands showed up on my account as friends their ride photos showed up too

I just hot back and we had memory maker. Three families in three rooms. All of our bands were linked. Any band could be scanned and all pics showed up. Since I was the owner j downloaded everything but you could give that permission to another

Yes. You may allow anyone who is connected to your Family & Friends list to view your photos. Photo sharing is set one person at a time, so you control who is able to view all the Disney PhotoPass photos connected to your Disney account. Guests who you allow to view your photos will also have the option to purchase prints, digital downloads or keepsakes of any of your photos.

To allow others to view the images in your Disney PhotoPass account, sign in to your Disney account and set photo sharing permissions using the Family & Friends page in your Profile. On your Family & Friends list, locate the Guest you want to share your photos with and select “Edit” to access the photo sharing control.

If someone is not on your Family & Friends list and you do not wish to add them, you can also invite people to view your photos through email or Facebook.

Before you download any photo or otherwise redeem your Memory Maker purchase, you can reassign the Memory Maker entitlement to any person who has a Disney account and who is connected to your Family & Friends list. Once assigned, that individual will become the owner of the entitlement.

To reassign Memory Maker, locate your Memory Maker in My Reservations in My Disney Experience and select the “Reassign” link. You can reassign Memory Maker to anyone connected to you through your Family & Friends list.

Does my Memory Maker purchase allow me to download photos linked to my family and friends?
A.
Yes. If other people are connected to your Family & Friends list and choose to share their photos taken during your Memory Maker window, you have the ability to download those photos.

Your Memory Maker window starts once you capture your first photo—or if you purchased Memory Maker at the advance purchase price, the Memory Maker window begins 3 days following the date Memory Maker was purchased—and ends 30 days following your first photo download or when you otherwise redeem your Memory Maker purchase.

To view and download your friend and family members’ photos, please ask them to sign in to their Disney account and set photo sharing permissions using the Family & Friends page in their Profile. On their Family & Friends list, they can locate the Guest they want to share photos with and select “Edit” to access the photo sharing control.

Sooooo it sounds like only one member of your party at a time has the Memory Maker to allow downloading of files. But provided everyone is linked whichever MDE account has that right can get the pictures from everyone's profiles linked to the party?
