Memory Maker Pictures Question/Experiences?...Pictures Expired

DH and I had a great trip this fall. I had looked at our pictures but didn't get a chance to download them. Due to some unforseen circumstances I was few days late downloading our photos. We were able to grab the last two days of our trip but missed the first four.

I'm going to call back tonight to see if there is anyway they can recover the pictures. I have no problem paying for an extension to the memory maker and planning on doing that anyways before I realized half our trip expired. Anyone have experience working with Disney and able to recover the pictures after they expired? They just expired last week so we are still within that 60 day window if they were holding them...

The pictures expire 45 days from the date they are taken; regardless if you have downloaded them or not.

I do believe there is a one time extension that cost approx. $15 so that you can download them.

Disney PhotoPass photos, photos from select dining locations, photos from select attractions and any other media in your account are subject to the Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy and currently expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken.

You may be able to purchase an expiration extension on the Disney PhotoPass website.

Pretty sure I have read they are deleted once they expire. Which means there would be no way to recover them, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Hopefully I am wrong.

We were able to recover all the pictures. I emailed and called Disney, they were great. The email already corrected the issue before I knew it on the call. All our pictures are back and no need for extension. Great Disney service once again!
