How can I tell if my AP includes MM? Renewed it about 3 months ago, before they started selling them again. When I bought it, I did do with the understanding that it had all the past benefits, including MM. Thoughts???

Once at WDW and you activate the renewal, it will be converted to the corresponding new pass level and will include the same benefits as before. If you are DVC and have the Gold Pass, the block out dates are different on the Sorcerer Pass which is the corresponding new pass.

The CM should have given you a confirmation number which you could use to link the renewal to MDE.

If you renewed it 3 months ago than you would have gold or platinum until your next renewal including all blackouts/benefits when your up for renewal that you will switch to a new tier and have to pay $99 (give or take pending renewal discounts and/or price increases) for memory maker added

But the OP renewed by phone and those phone renewals are in "voucher" form until activation. At the time of activation, the pass will be converted to the corresponding new pass level.

Mine was renewed by phone in July and activated in August, so it will be a Gold with MM until next July, then upon renewal it will be a Sorcerer. Had I activated it 9/8 or after it would have been activated as a Sorcerer.
