We will only be staying 4 nights... 3 park days. I'm having a hard time deciding whether it is worth it to get MM for such a short trip. I love the ride photos, but it seems that we don't ever get as many pics as we think we will do to time constraints and lines.

Any thoughts?

We've never bought MM.
We did get it once with an AP, it's kinda fun, but I think it's a $20 fun not a $100 fun. Some people really like it

After your trip, you can order a few prints if they happen to have a shot or 2 that are better than your camera or phone.

I've done it on 3 day... I want the pictures regardless of price, so I'm going to pay. In the 3 days we got over 50 pics, so I was happy & felt it was worth it since at least half were ride pics that I never could have taken myself.

I'd depends on what you are interested in. I wasn't planning on doing it at first cause I was going solo. But after a few pics, I changed my mind. I just got back and did MM for just Tue and Wed. You can do a daily one if you want for $59. I did it on a MNNSHP night, and got a lot of good pics. I also went up to every photopass photographer I saw. I had also asked for magic shots, so I got a ton of them. It is a little expensive, but if your planning on taking a lot pictures, you should go for it. You also get some good shots with characters. I'm glad I did it.

Yes they will. I think each ride photo is $15. Is that true? Does the 15 get you a digitial copy or prints? How much do they charge for the rights to each photo from a photographer in the parks? I think knowing those two things would help figure out if the $150 is worth it. If everyone is willing to stop and take pictures multiple times, I think you could get your money's worth. Especially if you ride a lot of rides.

See if you can find a memory maker share group. We went for 3 days and shared with 5 or 6 other groups so that cut down the cost a lot. We had 200 pics after edits but we also tried to ask every photographer we saw to take our photo.

It used to be that of you bought MM and you didn't like the pictures, you could ask for a refund. I'd check to see if that is a still an option.

I do short trips with 2 or 3 park days and I just don't feel MM is worth the cost. We don't do a lot of photos to begin with. The ride photos don't really interest me. I like to look at them online right after, but don't feel the need to save or print them. The character handlers are always more than happy to take a few pics on my own camera and most of those have turned out fine. On the rare occasion I come across a character with no Disney photographer and no handler, I just ask another park goer to take a couple of pictures on my camera and offer to do the same for them. I did purchase one photopass photo last year. It was taken at night, looking down Sunset Blvd at HS with ToT in the background and the photographer had asked us to make faces like we were scared. The picture was so funny I decided to purchase it. $15 seems a bit much for one picture, but this is one that wouldn't have come out nearly as well if I had asked to have one done with my camera, so I deemed it worth the cost. Individual downloads are $15 regardless of the source (Disney photographer, ride photo, magic shot) and include a release to allow you to do pretty much whatever you want with the photo (post online, make prints, print in a book, make some other kind of photo gift item, etc.). I think you really just have to look at how many photos you think you might have taken and of those, how many you think you would want to have copies to keep, as well as whether you want to be able to have copies of ride photos to keep, and then decide if the price is worth it to you. You will be able to view all of your photos online even if you haven't purchased MM, so you could always wait and see what all you end up with and make a decision after the fact. Only down side to that approach is that I think it costs more that way than it does if you purchase prior to your trip.
