Our trip is in 2.5 weeks. I haven't purchased MM yet, but will before the trip. We are a family of 4 and I am the only one with a MDE account. Will all 4 of us automatically be attached to the MM account? Since no one else has an MDE they can't authorize it.

I'm assuming you've added everyone to your MDE friends & family list? If so, any ride pictures where they are wearing their magic bands or pictures taken where the CM scanned their magic bands will show up in your MDE account.

The Memory Maker was a great experience and we can't wait to do it again. No worries. No one left out of a photo. Plus all the nice touches they do with the photos and the options you have with the photos are great too. Everytime you see a photographer just go to them. So simple.

We're only going to WDW from a Tuesday mid-afternoon through a Satuday evening... Are we even there long enough to invest in MM? Or would it be a waste for us? The last day we are there, we are planning on going to BB for water fun.

I liked the old days where they just took your picture and you could even have them upload your pics off of your personal camera to the Disney CD.

Individual pictures can be downloaded for $15 and the pre purchase price of MM is $169. You'd need to want more than 11 photos (from rides, stopping at photographers, character meets, etc) in order for a MM purchase to pay off. You can still upload your personal pictures to *add* them to your Disney photos to make a photo book or other product, but I don't know if you could include them on a CD (available for additional price)

when can you buy the CD? is it after you have downloaded your photos?

You can buy the CD any time up to 45 days after each picture was taken (then they start to expire & disappear from your account). You could buy the CD and never download if you want.

I noticed the info on Disney said they take videos too. How do the photographers know who is a MM customer in order to get videos of them?

The videos I had on mine were from rides so they know which car you are in based on when you scan your band afterwords.

It is from the rfid info from your band, but you don't actually even have to scan your band after rides. Tower of Terror gives both a photo and video and it is not necessary to scan your band. Mine train has both and they don't even have a place to scan bands - you can only get Mine Train shots if you have a magic band. Hopefully that may save folks a couple minutes after rides - keep on walking! No need to stop at the photo viewing area unless you just want to see your picture on the screen.

I love this. Back in the old days, near the end of the ride, I’d have to get my camera and take a snapshot of the photo number!

I bought Memory Maker and only see the card linked to my magic band. My daughters magicband is visible under my account. But my wife account got separated when I set her up under her email address. But she does see the hotel and dining reservations. Will they be able to use it if they are not with me? Is the card linked to their Magic Bands too?

Is she still listed under your friends & family on My Disney Experience? If so, you're set. Any of your "friends and family" who get a picture taken and have their magic band scanned (or picked up via RFID on the ride photos) will be available for download with you MM.
