Memory maker confusion

I read on another thread that the primary guest must be same as the disney account holder. I signed up for MDE with my name but when we booked the vacation, hubs is the primary guest and the memory maker is linked to him according to the reservation confirmation. Is this going to be a problem?

No one knows? I might have to call then. DH does not have a MDE account, so I'm not sure how this works. His name is on my friend and family list, do I need to invite him again or sth, apparently u can do so by clicking edit next to his name. But why would he need to make a separate acct? Urrgh

Because if you purchase memory maker the entitlement is automatically assigned to the primary guest. It can be fixed. Your concierge if they know their stuff should be able to get it sorted out for you.

Thanks! I was thinking of transferring the entitlement to me to prevent any problems or create a separate MDE for hubs ( but the reservation would not be on it ).

We had the same issue, I spoke with someone in CS and they sorted it out for me.

Emailed CS and was told it might be a problem and to call if it's a problem when downloading the photos, well I dun want anything that might be a problem, not even sure whirs band to scan for the ride photos..

As I understand it, all bands that are linked as friends and family in MDE can be scanned, including at rides. The person who holds the entitlement might be the only one who can download the photos from the account, but there should be some privacy settings that may allow others to download. Since it is your husband, and I assume he is in the same household, I don't see any reason to change anything.

Nope literally only the person it is linked to can download and there's no way to share that with anyone else. You can reassign it to someone else but once you use it that entitlement is consumed and that person is the only downloaded.

That is exactly what they did. Told them it was my account on MDE and they transferred it over right away!

And yes I could view them from MDE, didn't realize the problem until I went to download them.
