Memory Maker and Magic Bands question

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this so I apologize ahead of time if I missed a recent thread asking/answering my question(s)

We'll be going to DW in August, we haven't ordered our Magic Bands yet but all of our reservations are now finalized. We just added and paid for Memory Maker a few days ago and I went to MDE to link it to our Magic Bands (haven't ordered these yet) but it's asking me for a "ticket number". We haven't received that yet, I'm assuming it might be another few days before we get it? Anyway my question is this: can I order our Magic Bands already or should I wait for the "ticket" to arrive in the mail first to link the MM to the Bands? Does it matter at all?

It doesn't matter at all. Your bands don't contain any information other than a code that links to your account. If your MM is in your account it will show up and be accessible via your bands whether it is added before the bands are added or after.
