I have another memory maker question. I thought I read in a different thread that when you purchase the mm, it is good for 45 or so days. My Aunt is going down November 2nd coming back on the 7th. My family will go down November 14th and come back the 21st. Can we really share the mm? How would we do this is we are not there at the same time?

Yes, you can share the MM. Just make sure that everyone is linked as friends and family and that MDE account owners have given permission to view/purchase photos. It's as easy as that. Just remember that only the MM owner will be able to view ride photos and that all edits will need to be done on the account of the MM owner as well.

So I am trying really hard to understand. So my aunt will by the memory maker and then on the mde site we friend each other. How will this link to the bands in my group of we weren't the original buyers?

Following this. We are headed to WDW with friends next week. We are wanting to split the cost of the MM. Since we are "friends" through MDE, could we both get photos and it goes to the same MM account?

I was told that you will only have photo access on MM 30 days from the day the first pictures are taken - with the option to pay for a 15 day extension.

So in the OP case that would mean they wouldn't have much time for the OP's Aunt to do any photo edits and get them all downloaded from the OP's trip (Nov. 14 through 21) since they would expire 30 days from the time the first picture was taken on Nov. 2nd.

Also I was told that any ride photos would have to be on the MM Account Owners band so if the account owner wasn't there on the Nov. 14-21st trip, I would think that would mean any ride photos wouldn't be on the shared MM account unless maybe your Aunt lets you take her band when the OP goes on the trip.

I was told this by a photopass photography in DHS so I don't know how 100% accurate it is. I was asking for a friend of mine.

I don't think the person who buys MM needs to be present for ride photos to be added. I did a share and the person who bought our MM was not in the parks. Our ride photos showed up without a problem but they are all on the person who bought MM's account. So all edits / downloading need to be done through that account.
