Memories of the DREAM come true .. 08/09 All 30 days done!

It seems like our hearts WERE in our dreams as they all came true this summer!

Whose dream?

Ours, there is my DB Tom,

who is as much of a Disney lover as I, Karin,

but not as much of a planner. We both love to travel and have always spent our vacations travelling as long as we can remember.
We both live an Austria and travelling to Florida requires a lot of planning and searching the internet for deals and discounts. Well, that is MY job!

Last summer we were not sure if we could manage another trip like the ones we had taken the previous years, but we decided that IF we went value, we would be able to at least manage to do two cruises on the Disney DREAM and spend about two weeks at WDW.
During that last year we were able to change our value resorts to Old Key West and our two cruises became three in the end!
So our dream came true, we went to WDW for 17 nights and spent another 11 nights on the Disney DREAM.
We met a lot of our DISfriends,

received some very thoughtful and generous gifts

and found new friends from all over the world.

There was lots of time to explore both on dry land and at sea and for good measure we had a Hurricane thrown in as well.

When did all that happen, you ask?
From August 13 to September 11! We have just been home for a week and feel the urgent need to share our adventures with our DISfriends!

So, sit back, grab a relaxing drink and let’s take off on this adventure together!

I can't wait to read all about it!!! I still can not get over how long of a trip you took. I think that we here in the US could stand to learn a thing or two from other countries... I get 0 vacation time and dh...well, after dd's surgery he lost all his and is down to 0 days (even though technically he worked the two weeks.). We will still be going in December...but we will definitely have to budget around the loss of wages for taking the time off.
