Crowds over Memorial Day weekend can be pretty heavy. Occasionally the MK will reach capacity and will close in stages during that weekend.

We were thinking of going 5/22-30. Are the week days prior as bad as the actual weekend?

The weekdays prior aren't as bad. Once you get to Friday you'll notice the difference.

Snice memorial day is the 25th, you're saying the 22-25 will be the busy days, but the week after won't be as bad? I think I confused myself with my previous questions! I kept thinking memorial day was later in the week.....

We have started our vacation on Memorial Day 3 times now if I am remembering correctly. We have also went the week after Memorial day which is usually the first or second week in June depending on how the calendar falls. I thought the crowds during the week after Memorial Day were busier than the week of. The last two years we have been at Epcot and HS on Memorial Day and the crowds didn't bother us.

We were there the week before Memorial Day weekend last year and it wasn't bad. Friday was the 24 hour MK day and Star Wars weekend.

Yes, the dates are confusing. However what I'm saying is that the Friday-Monday will be busy. The days before or after that aren't bad. Think of Thursday as a ramp-up day, and Tuesday as a ramp-down day.

We arrived on Memorial Day this past year and stayed for 10 days. We thought the crowds were very manageable.
