Memorial Day Grand Gathering Site #

We have decided to cancel the vacant site for the Grand Gathering and use my site as it is a large site with a large area on the side and a large area in the back. Lots of wilderness area for the drunks to go Rabbit hunting (taste like Chicken). There is also a wilderness area for the childens' to play among the Lions, Tigers and Bears (oh my!) and still be within sight of their parents. Plenty of room to set up the Guitar Hero and most of all, plenty of room for all the BEER!

The site number is ......919.

If I remember correctly the time is 6:00pm but we welcome anyone who would like to come early around 3:00 or 4:00 and chill and shoot the you know what. We would also get a head start on the drinkin'. Well, I will have already started but you can catch up.

We will have a plate warmer to keep some food items warm that need to be kept warm.

For those who are number challenged. My trailer is a Cyclone Fifth Wheel. For those who are number challenged and cannot read...here are pics of the site and my trailer. The truck will be parked elsewhere to make room for cart parking. As you can see...there should be plenty of room.

we have a lot of cardboard cutouts to set up. I'd better start drinking early. I'm bringing my charcoal grill that is portable.

hopefully they get my hitch installed today and we are problem free the rest of the week.

I also have a portable gas grill and there is the site grill so we should have plenty of grillin' grills!

I just called to cancel the vacant site and I did not read the cancel clause that was changed to 6 days now instead of 5 so they won't refund the money. When did they do that? I kept the reservation since I paid for it anyway. Anyone need a site for one night?

Yay! Looks fabulous..... I've got a couple extra 4' tables in the trailer in case we need them. And, I'm bringing dessert. Was there meat provided, or is it a bring your own to grill?? Sorry, my brain's been in overload mode this past week....lol....

i'm bringing a big bunch of hotdogs from Sams to grill, so we are covered there. If someone wants to bring a box of sams burgers, that'd be good.

I can bring a box of hamburgers as well. I think we are going to sams today. I have to make sure the fridge in the mh won't trip the breaker on the house again. I refuse to lose another fridge full of food.

We can still chip in $ for the extra site if no one claims it. I am calling the ressie line tonight to make sure we can get in the 900 loop.

I was but I had to cancel awhile back. We have to work this weekend, but I'm trying to talk DH into quitting early on Saturday so we can drive up. But, I don't think we can. Besides, it's 3 hours up and 3 hours back. That's a long time on the road. And we have to work again on Sunday.

Man o man I'm soooooooo jealous of you guys!!!!! I wish I was going to be there too! I have to work Monday...time and a half!!! but I'll be down on the beach Sat. for a crawfish boil!!! I'm taking my new tent down to christen it and seal everything....lol should be a trip getting it up late fri. afternoon after driving from work...Sunday I'm taking my friend who has helped fill in for a non existent husband doing things I just don't have the manstrength to do for a lovely brunch at the Grand Hotel at Point Clear as a special thank you!..then back on the road again....sheesh I'm on the road so much I have actually started singing that song !!!! Have fun.....and CHEERS!!!! Have a brew for me!!!: but please no drinking1 !! well maybe a cart is ok...not going far!(how I lost my hubby for the last 10 years!!! maybe next year he might get to come home!)
