The "Cast"
Me: 30 Year Old Disney-a-holic, librarian; 6 months pregnant with baby girl
DH: 34 Year Old NASCAR Loving Disney Enjoyer(he likes it, enjoys it, but isn't quite the fanatic I am) and elementary school principal. Great husband, great dad. 'Nuff said.
Ben/DS: 4 year old Disney fanatic already.

Got up at 8:00. Went down to swim one last time, but Luna Park was closed. We headed over to the quiet pool and swam for about an hour with the pool all to ourselves. We headed back to the room(after Ben tried out the “shower” by the pool—he thought this was “cool”).

We got ready and packed up and headed out to get the rental car. I headed out to the BW because I wanted some sweets from Seashore Sweets to take home with me, and I waited until the last day so I could do this. Little did I realize that it doesn’t open until 1, so my sweet tooth will have to wait. We got the car and headed over to BOMA for our last breakfast in the world. This is when things got interesting.

There were just a few other families there so we got in no problem. Breakfast was AWESOME! I had the best omelette I’ve ever had from the omelet station, and the juice they serve there is the best. We were seated right in front of the fire-roaster where they roast the meats, and as we were finishing I noticed the girl that was cooking/carving there had a box of baking soda and was throwing it on the fire. Then another worker came in and tried to help her, then another, and another. They would all walk away shaking their heads, and the whole time the girl that was working it is kind of standing over to the side. By this time it’s getting pretty smoky in there and I’m getting anxious to pay and get out. A manager comes over to me and says, “Ma’am if you’d like to move away from this smoke we will help you move your things”. I told him I was just ready to pay and he went to get our waitress to put a rush on it. As we were walking out, there are two or three workers coming in with big containers of water heading over to the fire. We also heard the smoke alarm briefly, and it was shut off. We head out, all smelling tremendously of fire-roasted meats and get the car. As we are leaving the Animal Kingdom Lodge, we meet a fire truck with its sirens wailing, going in. Whew, just missed that one, but it seems the smell will stick with us all day!

We decide to stop by Downtown Disney since we have time. A trip to the World of Disney is always a good time for me! Brent and Ben told me to pick out a birthday present since my birthday is coming up, so I picked out a charm bracelet with two little Mickey mouse “child” charms to go on it and a decal for my van. We also bought Ben a basketball with “2004 WDW” on it(he has a ball from WDW every year since he was born), a stuffed Stitch, and 2 coloring books. We headed over to Legoland and let Ben run around for a few minutes, then headed on to the airport. Our flight was delayed, and overbooked, as they were offering $200 vouchers plus the face value of your ticket to give up your seat. I wanted to take advantage of this, but Brent had to be back home for a meeting the next day and he didn’t want to risk not catching the next flight. Our plane finally gets there and it is a first for us on one of the “new” SWA planes. The only difference on the inside is the leather seats, that I can tell. Once we arrived at the airport we caught our limo back to Park Express Fly, got our van(with the keys out thanks to a locksmith) paid our bill with an extra $25 locksmith fee and headed for our 2 hour drive home. Ben was asleep within 10 minutes on the road. A stop at Arby’s for supper and we were home.
