Memorial Day Crowds?

How are the crowds this time of year? I was thinking of booking the last week of May and the beginning of June. We usually go in the summer due to the kids school schedules but they done now soooooo I thought this would be a way to sneak some extra time in. Is it maybe just a bit cooler than July? I want to bring my Mom with us and don't want too much heat for her.

Our kids get out of school before Memorial Day. We have found this to be the best time to visit compared to other times we have taking into account that we have always been locked in by school scheduled.

Expect it to be a bit "cooler" but not always.

Gay Days can cause resorts and parks to get crowded. This occurs at the MK on the 1st Saturday each June with various events scheduled several days before and maybe a couple of days after. Its been a few years since we visited during this time period; I don't know if its still a big event. MK on that Saturday has been very crowded over the years.

This is the only time we've ever gone, and we love it. It can get hot, but not like in July. This past Memorial Day week the weather was surprisingly pleasant. We never got over heated and the crowds were managable. You just have to be smart about how you tour the parks. I don't know how old your mom is, but I know my mom (74 years old) would not do well with the heat in July and May would be questionable. My mom would also need a ECV so that she could keep up. Have fun planning--and hopefully we'll bump into you next year if we get to go again!
