Memorial Day and/or Gay Days 2017

We have been this time of year for our last 4 trips, mainly to go to Star Wars weekends (which we will miss if they don't bring them back) and we will happen to be there the exact same time as you guys in 2017. Gay Days have never been an issue with us. We have been in the parks on the same days as they have been and really only noticed it being crowded at DHS, but it was SW Weekend as well and it's just crazy crowded anyway. The only place we have avoided the Gay Day Crowds was at Magic Kingdom. I've just heard it's crazy crowded. But, the crowds generally disappear around dinner, and they don't tend to get to the parks early either. So, you can gets lots done in the morning and evenings. On Memorial Day we favor Epcot because the park is so large it doesn't feel as crowded. Just be sure to get the fast passes you want and book them as early as possible to ensure the times you want. Memorial Day weekend does tend to feel more crowded than later in the week because a lot of people are there for that weekend only. Yes, some schools have let out and you will see more people there due to that, but we always thought the crowds were less during the week - at least until the following weekend. Despite the crowds, if you get to the park at rope drop or do a pre-park opening breakfast so you are already in the park at rope drop, you can get tons of stuff done by 11am when the crowds start to show up. We generally try to time our FP times for after 1030-11am because most rides are walk-on or 15 minutes or less until 10-1030 (except the Seven Dwarfs roller coaster - that ride was already at 45 minutes wait time 15 minutes after rope drop.)

Have a great trip!!
