Get a grip, people. It's the NYC subway system, not the last helicopter out of Saigon! the conducter isn't lying when he says "there's another train right behind this one."
Are you on the 4/5/6? You speak like one who has witnessed the 5-deep crush on the upper east side platforms in the morning. I used to take the Brooklyn-bound L to the F/V, and that was GREAT. Very empty.
LOL, I used to take the 2 or the 3 from Atlantic Avenue to wall Street ... a real nightmare. then it was the 2 or 3 from Penn Station to Wall Street...not a real improvement.
Now I take the E from Penn Station to the WTC. Same story. tonight the conductor actually told someone "get your foot out of the door and catch the next train."

DH can take the train in from NJ and then the PATH and then a subway..or he can take a bus, and he always goes for the bus(and then he walks 2 blocks from the PA) so he doesn't have to deal with that.
