I wonder if this will be structured like the socal 3 day tickets...really hope so!.I will say that the 3-day weekday Disneyland perk may work very well for me, as I typically would go for only 4 nights. Depending on how much the discount is.
I was just going to comment, I wonder if the lounge re-opening is being delayed for the launch of these new paid member benefits..I'm not sure that's true. The website linked above says that character meets in the Epcot lounge will be a benefit of Beyond, and that Beyond members get priority access to the lounges when there is a waiting list. To me, that implies that non-Beyond members can still visit the lounge but might have a longer wait and won't get to meet the characters.
This was my first thought. I was a little bit surprised it wasn't included in the 2025 offerings until I realized that next year, when they raise the price for 2026, they will be able to add this as an additional perk to help justify the price jump.Everyone will still be eligible for moonlight magic, However if you want priority access to make a reservation, you can buy this upgrade
I won't be able to have this add-on, but I'm frustrated to see such lack of worth delivered to you, DVC-Y members. This all should be free. Hope they at least add extra benefits in the future.
One can purchase 24 OTU points per membership, right? If you have 2 memberships, I wonder if that would carry over in that you can get 48 OTU points averaging $10 each with only one $99 Beyond fee.Just read some of the terms and conditions. For MM, you get one entitlement a year.
So, it covers one 30 day period. If you go multiple times a year, it doesn’t sound like you’d get it I. Future trips.
Tickets can only be purchased by calling MS or Disney…no buying in person. The 5 day weekday passes did WDW must be used within 8 days is the start date. The extra water park day can be used any day including weekends.
Park hopping can be added to the pass.
The OTU points can be used for any trip that is bookable so you can buy in 2025 for trips in 2026. And, yes, you are capped 24 still with the bonus.
So, most one will pay for is 12, if they want all 24.
Good question. Have to be blue card for each use year too iirc. We only have e 150 pts on one use year where the others are resalesOne can purchase 24 OTU points per membership, right? if you take 3 or 4 trips a year, and buy MM each time, but now you get one trip's MM for free, is that not still a benefit? what am I missing?I keep seeing all these people saying the value of MM alone is worth the cost. I guess that's fine if you only take one trip a year. Am I the only one that saw it was limited to 30 days? I assume that would be from a start date to an end date 30 days later, like activating a day ticket. At least that's the way I read it. I cannot imagine that this is 30 random days in a calendar. Unless you only take one trip a year, I see virtually no value in that.
As to the day tickets being able to be upgraded to Sorcerer's, I can see why they're not letting people upgrade them to point-purchased passes, but I can almost guarantee you that ticketing will apply the purchased value to a paid (and blue card discounted) Sorcerer's pass. Not doing so would go against 50 years of policy set by ticketing and having nothing to do with DVC. Once you buy that day ticket, DVC is out of it. Ticketing takes over at the point.

Can you transfer OTUP between memberships?I really hope so! We have 3 different memberships and usually max out our OTU points every year. So, in our case, this $99 offer is actually SAVING us moneyso I was beyond thrilled when I saw the email.
My only complaint is that I have to wait until December to buy itWhy won't they take my money now?!
Can you transfer OTUP between memberships?
Exactly...if you take 3 or 4 trips a year, and buy MM each time, but now you get one trip's MM for free, is that not still a benefit? what am I missing?
If you’re getting it just for this perk, you’re paying $99 + $240 to get 24 OTU points, so that’s $349 for 24. $349/24 = $14.54Not sure how that is what it is. It says you get a free one for everyone you buy
So, if you buy 12, you get the full 24…if you buy 5, you get 10.
They are $20/point so I see them now only $10/point.
If you take 3-4 trips a year you probably have an AP. The AP addon I believe is the same price, but would work for all trips.if you take 3 or 4 trips a year, and buy MM each time, but now you get one trip's MM for free, is that not still a benefit? what am I missing?
Yup and then they’re no longer perks.I think it’s entirely likely that more perks move to a paid model.
So what you're saying is that if someone rents out 24 points at $14.54 or more per year, they effectively can get this perk for free. (yes, this assumes you don't actually NEED the OTU points AND you use this in place of your existing points in a given year you purchase the perk). If you’re getting it just for this perk, you’re paying $99 + $240 to get 24 OTU points, so that’s $349 for 24. $349/24 = $14.54
It is not really a benefit for AP holders. For 100$, I have the photo pass added to my AP for a full year. If the membership magic beyond were a year of photo pass for 95$, then it would be a benefit for AP holders but as it is, it does not have a benefit for AP holders.if you take 3 or 4 trips a year, and buy MM each time, but now you get one trip's MM for free, is that not still a benefit? what am I missing?
