Does anyone else’s DVC card not show Y or ND?

Yup.

At first mine had neither Y or ND in Apple Pay. I kept trying to delete and update... made no difference.

Then I followed someone's suggestion and deleted my phone number from MDE before adding it back... updated and it finally flipped to Y which is correct. Don't know whether that did it or not, really. At this point all my points are direct, if that makes a difference to you.

I've added / deleted / re-added my card into my Apple Wallet so many times that I've lost count and each time it has given me the 'ND" notation because we are in the purchased resale category, but with benefits. I just now tried the suggestion to add my phone number to MDE and re-added my card and now my notation is "DVC ND, ANNUAL." I don't currently have an AP (but used to), but is this how they are notating eligibility for discounts?

I'm so confused...

Just went last week. They are pretty well trained to check for Y or ND at this point at any place where a blue card would be required.
 
Mine did, until I called member services for another reason. After they accessed my profile, it's now showing the "ND". I have a grandfathered resale contract, so this is not an improvement. But it "fits" with other reports of people modifying their profile (ie. deleting the phone number) and then seeing the "Y/ND" designation.

I just tried this and left my phone number blank and still have ND from my purchase in 2009.

Just to clarify:
  • There are two different problems here. Some people are seeing only "DVC" (no qualifier). ALSO, some people with qualified points are seeing "DVC ND". Separate issues.
  • The discussion in this particular thread is mostly focused on the "no qualifier" problem. The solutions people have suggested may work to update a "DVC" only tag to either "DVC Y" (if you're lucky) or "DVC ND" (if you're not).
  • If you're already seeing "DVC ND", modifying your profile is not going to help. (AFAIK, there is no known solution to that problem. We are all waiting for a fix from DVC IT.)
  • @mouseclick1 was responding to someone else who did not report the same experience I had - so I'm not sure which "this" you tried
  • Some people have had success in updating the "DVC" tag by modifying their own profiles (eg. phone number.) That didn't work for me, but MS accessing my profile did cause an update.
 
To add to the above, we are resale only and past the grandfather date and ours read DVC Y for several months. But that has since been updated to DVC ND without any action on our part. So they are going through and doing cleanups(but they may be starting with the ones that benefit them the most).
