Has anyone so far received the e-mails that DVC is supposed to send out periodically after you sign up at their site? I have not received anything yet. Thanks

I have never gotten anything.

My sister worked for an advertising agency that does a lot of work for Disney. A bunch of stuff for their web also....she came up with, "The Happiest Place Online"

She told wild stories of their levels of beaucracy, legal opinions and how they never moved forward on anything. It could be a long time, but it is good to have seen their requesting the addresses, maybe something will actually happen.

I periodically receive emails from DVC. I don't remember when I first gave DVC my email address.

I just opened today's mail - on page one of the Vacation Magic, George Aguel refers to the "new monthly Member email newsletter." So I guess periodically is monthly!

I probably will check with MS to find out why I don't get Vacation Magic, 2003 Member Guidebook, e-mails or anything else. Thanks

ncligs,

That was funny. I have never seen this one.

It is amazingly beuracratic within DVC. My address with Qulaity Assurance was not correct. They said that they could not make the change unless I e-mail MS. I asked them how come I always get the contracts, and all other purchasing materials mail to me via Quality Assurance while I don't get all other things, they could not explain it.

After the e-mail sent to MS, MS told me that my address is correct in their system and it is really up to QA to fix the address.

Back to QA, someone in QA finally said that she would take care of it and make sure all my addresses are correct in their various systems (their systems are not linked) (in MS, QA, and their Marketing department where the VM and other things are sent from). They would not give me a phone # for the marketing department for me to verify the address.

I finally received the Summer VM 3 weeks ago and that was it.

Now I am suspecting somewhere the address is still not corrected. Unbelievable....:D

Sorry about the rambling, it is just very frustrating.

We haven't received anything yet! But are looking forward to it!

I've recieved a number of emails from MS.

The last one was on June 20, 2002 reminding me that if I wish to bank 100% of my points I will need to do it prior to the end of July.

The one just prior was titled "Disney Vacation Club Top Ten Member Winners!" dated June 14, 2002.

The May 10, 2002 mailing was titled "Disney Vacation Club Member Guidebook Survey."

The emails are in HTML format and usually cover five or six topics.

There are others, these three are the most recent.

We just started to receive emails, and we provided them with our email address a couple of months ago.

I think the first one we received was about three weeks ago, thanking us for signing up for their email services.

The most recent one was just last week to remind us of an upcoming banking deadline.
