My apologies in advance for all the newbie style questions but I have just booked my first Vacation Home and have now logged into the website to view all of the details and I just have a few questions relating to what I see.

Please bare with me I am still very excited about buying my points yesterday so this may be why my brain is not working properly !!!

1. I have just called and transfered my 150 April 2006 points to 2007 and made a reservation for June 2007 using 224 points. Under "2007 points" on the website I have 76 points showing as remaining, but how do I know if those 76 remaining points are from the 2006 points that I banked or are from the 2007 points. Obviously I want to use the banked points first and I just want to be sure thats what has happened, but how to I work that out online ??

2. I booked 13th/14th June as BWV preffered view but have wait listed for standard view so I do not need to change rooms. When my wait list comes in will that automatically show on the website and will the preffered room for those dates automatically cancel ??

3. I had to book it as 3 separate vacations. 8th-12th June Standard view, 13/14th Prefered View and 15th-21st Standard View. When and if my wait list comes through and all of my dates are for the same room type, will this merge into one reservation on the website with just one reservation number or will I need to call member services to ask them to change it ??

Congrats on your new points and welcome home

1) I'm not sure if there's an exact way.. but under points -> points summary, it lists for me total points remaining, total available to bank, etc.. as far as i've been told, they always use your banked points first, then your regular ones in case you want to bank your next "UY" points for later

2) If you told the CM to automatically wait list/cancel they will.. we booked this Xmas for studio, but only got a few days, so had to do studio+1br.. we wait listed for studio, got it... in the computer it 'cancels the previous reservation' (and puts your points back) and then makes a 'new reservation' subtracting the correct number of points... this is probably best seen in the 'View Activity Statement' view

3) It merges into one new reservation.. and they send you a new letter for all of it actually.

I just checked my 2007 Points on the website and it says

Total vacation points remaining 76
Total vacation points avaliable to borrow 76

Am I right in thinking then that these 76 points I have remaining must be 2007 points because if they were the 2006 points that I previously banked it would not give me the option to borrow them............is that right ??

Oooo how I love to confuse !!!
