I have been getting the "too busy to process request" message again today. It's funny, but this seems to always happen after they have one of their "special events" and close MS. I can't help but think software upgrades are the reason. I sure hope they get this thing fixed soon!
 
I was on it yesterday, but this morning, I got the same notice that you did.

I've gotten the "too busy" message off and on for a couple of weeks now. I just figurd there was so much traffic from people checking their Christmas waitlists daily, that the site can't handle it. Add to that the folks tha have Developers Points reservations, and are wondering why they aren't showing up on the website...

And all those new members with developers points to burn, that may be trying to login, thinking they can check availability (even though the DVC website doesn't offer that capability).

luckily I banked my remaining 2007 points before Nov 30th, but if I had not, I would have been out of luck with MS closed on that date, and the website chronically down.

I haven't been able to get on the site since I banked my points earlier in the week.
 
I just logged on with no problems. Guess the website likes me.;)
 
Oh well, I'm still not able to log in...get the message about too busy. On Wednesday, I was able to bank all of our new add on points on line and it went without a hitch, and I was able to view the new ressie that I had made with those banked points for September '08, so, I'm relatively happy.

I would think that if you hadn't been able to get through by phone or website that if you sent an email requesting to bank points, and noting that you had tried the other methods, they would still do it for you. :confused3

I certainly hope that they will bend the rules for anyone in that situation. I am chronically last minute about these things, so I am very lucky that for once I didn't wait until the last possible moment to bank those points!

When I get the too busy, I just refresh about 2-3 times and usually get on. Susan

I do the same and I usually get in by the 2nd or 3rd time. I wait about 30 seconds or so between each refresh. Yesterday it took a few more tries (maybe 5?) but I did eventually get in using this technique.
 
You are more persistent than I am! Good for you! Thank you for the hints, I will keep them in mind.

I was just able to get in, check my vacation details, and it's all there. We will be checking into AKV on Saturday, and VWL on Sunday!!!!:banana:
