Member Site Down?

Well I got on the site and thought it had been fixed. I wanted to bank my left over June use year points. It went through on the site but I just received email for banking confirmation and it says I banked May use year points( which don't exist) and I still have the same number of points that i just banked as points to bank again.
Everyone needs to watch their points and transactions very closely!!
 
After getting the email talking about II and the way things are now organized the site is once again unresponsive for me……

Had the same thing when I banked our Oct UY points the other day ... confirmation email said they were Sept UY ...... sounds like everything is off a month?
 

Still having issues! Have been trying to modify a reservation for 3 days now and every time I get all the way to "you're all set!" And then the dwarves. ARGHHHHH!

So sorry. I just modified this morning. Have you cleared everything? Does it have any borrowed or holding points? I had an issue two weeks ago with that and had to call.

I know it sounds weird, but try hitting the back button on your navigation bar. Many times for me it goes "back" to the next screen in the booking process. Disney IT at work.......

I've been trying to book a new reservation using a few borrowed points for over a week now and it keeps giving me the "we're working on it" page. Beyond frustrated with this terrible website. I will have to try calling them later when I have 3-4 hours to burn waiting on hold.

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago (banked June points/2 different resorts). DVC site shows correctly - email confirmation shows May UY, Poly listed twice instead of Poly & BWV, and after each Poly listing says “no points were banked from this contract. BTW the first sentence reads “Thank you for banking your points”. WHAT???!!!!
 
Disney dot com is putting us in "waiting rooms" now? I went on to check on hotel availability and got put on hold for 27 minutes JUST TO ACCESS THE WEBSITE! Not chatting not waiting to speak to someone, just simply to check on room availability ..... lol then guess what... nothing and I mean nothing available at AK (villa or hotel) for early December? Come on man, wth is going on here? I don't believe this.

The queue is because they released discounts yesterday through July 7. They've done this in the past. Not defending it, but it's not a new thing necessarily.

oh ok, honestly I have never run into this in all of our years of Disney travels .......... and we booked plenty of discounted trips over the past 30 years, perhaps we didn't do it on discount release day idk but with all the trouble the DVC site has had recently I just found this to be a tad odd. Glad to hear that it's not unusual (i guess lol)

I remember a couple of years ago trying to modify a reservation when AP rates came out. It was so frustrating because the site would crash whenever we tried to get to the checkout phase. Now, do I think WDW should have the infrastructure to handle the demand? Yes. But at least with the queue you don’t get a bunch of errors and timeouts.

That said I hope the DVC site never does that when it comes to competing for reservations at 8a on a busy booking day. Can you imagine getting out in a 52 minute queue at 8:00?

I think they are getting hammered from all sides by Omicron. Hotel reservations, cruise line, DVC, theme parks, you name it. Everyone is scrambling to make changes at the last minute this week in particular. Not saying Disney IT is ever better than below average at best, but I think they are facing some unique challenges at the moment. I get that those are all separate divisions, but Disney has consolidated everything under the disney.go umbrella, so it may just be demand sucking bandwidth across their whole platform.

How Reassuring :drinking:............. I have been taken aback by how much trouble the site has had the past 3-4 days .... this is our first time trying to book at 11 months never thought It would be this big of a hassle. If it were just us traveling I would just be patient and do a split stay where we can but since we need 3 studios it makes doing it now more pressing.
 
So i am in my 7 month window. i tried to book a week and i’m getting you are not in you window. I used the trip planning calendar on my dashboar. Guess what. I’m in my 11 month and 7 month calendar window. I Freaking hate Disney IT. i have 687 points for 2022 and i can’t book. Now i’m on hold to ask a *** DVC.

I can book 7 months + 7 days right now. I only get that message if I try to go to 7 months + 8 days (as it should give me that message).
