I've never seen that screen before. It must be an unexpected problem, because they usually announce outages in advance. Has anyone successfully dealt with MS by phone today, or are their systems down, too?
Got the answer to my own question. I called MS, and their systems are down, too. Expected to be until 2:30 now. My understanding is that when this happens, they can't check your member number, so they can't talk to you about anything, even the most general questions. I once asked for a manager to explain this, since our dues are paying people to sit around and not answer our general questions that wouldn't need their computer systems, but they said that they needed to keep a consistent policy, and their policy is not to talk to anyone unless they confirm their membership.
It has probably crashed and burned with all of the resale activity! Can you imagine all of the adds and deletions MS is making to both buyers' and sellers' contracts?
