forgive me I think I may be going mad.. You use to be able to email MS with a question but I cannot find this now on the new web site. Just phone numbers. Can somebody help me out? Tia.

I found this out this morning. I do 75% of my MS business by e-mail because it's so convenient. Maybe it's just a fluke that it's not available today. I sure hope they restore the option or the phone waits are going to be worse than ever.

And you are not going mad - For some reason the "Contact Us" link on the website no longer lists any of the email addresses or offers the "option that used to open an email template for us. Not sure what's going on with that. The above address was listed in the latest issue of the Disney Files magazine to contact Member Services.

In the past I was told more than once that they will only answer general questions using the direct email address due to security policies. By emailing via the website, your logging in verifies that you are who you say you are.

These website issues are getting really old!

That makes sense. I asked to add a guest to a Sept. reservation. Told MS email option thru the website was not available.

Thank you! You are a life saver.

There was one place where the email link on the website was broken, and another place where it actually worked. It looks like they removed all the links that worked, but left the broken link. It's on the "My Vacations" page.

Wrote to the members@dvc.com and included my full name, member number and address. Reply from MS was for security reasons they also needed my phone number. I decided to just call to add my guest. Told CM e-mail function wasn't working and she said they knew and that it would be restored. When? She didn't know.

Yes I just had the same response. Very frustrating!

Sometimes I wonder if they really don't understand how frustrating the website issues are to many members. I'm sure the MS CMs get it, but I wonder about the managers who have it in their power to improve website reliability & performance.

Perhaps it's time for us to start sending emails to Member Satisfaction every time the website stops working:

Right now, the email icon is there. Over a period of time, maybe 3 months, I have noticed that sometimes it was missing, but it always has been restored.

For years, I would actively let DVC know about issues, they would thank me, tell me that they were unaware and that they were going to share the info with the higher ups. Then someone that we got to know who worked in the executive offices at DVD/DVC told me one day that they were aware of everything, that while the CM's that we contact and work with really do care, upper management has their own agenda. The day to day issues aren't important to them, they are focused on developing new resorts, making Disney more money, getting recognized by industry trade organizations, and receiving awards for being a great timeshare developer.
