Does anyone know if you book airline flights through member services if you can get better rates than through say, your local travel agency?

And secondly, to those who have used the grocery delivery services both through DVC or an outside source: were you well pleased with the service and do you have any tips?

Thank you in advance,
Jess

There is a grocery list in your packet from DVC , if using DVC they will only deliver things that are on the list because that is just about all they have in their general stores on site. Be sure you order the right size and amounts, one time I ordered water and got enough to fill the bath tub. They will bring it to your room the day you arrive.

The DVC member web site has printable grocery lists for each resort that lists the items they carry and prices. You can fax the list over to the resort ahead of time and (in theory) your groceries will be delivered to the room sometime during your first day.

I've never done it myself, but like anything else, I've seen good reports and poor reports here. On the poor end, it was basically a case of someone having to call and remind them the deliver, or perhaps a fax that was "never received" in the first place. But there have also been reports here of it working flawlessly--family returned from a long day at the parks to find their fridge stuffed.
