Member perks and discounts at VGC ???

Hi all! We are so excited to be taking our first Disneyland trip ever!!!! I am very familiar with the DVC member perks at WDW but not at all sure about discounts or percy for DL. CAn anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, we are staying in a studio, I know there ren't many of those to begin with but are there any room requests that I should be considering! We leave Friday the 23rd!! Soooooo excited!

AND... if you've got any extra pixie dust laying around.... we are still waiting for a waitlist to come through for our final evening. We have been waitlisted since the 7 month mark. I'm starting to lose faith on this one, we ave made alternate plans but would love to cancel that reservation and stay put!

One of the nicest perks is that your 10% dining discount can be used at counter service restaurants in addition to table service.

The only other thing I can think of is that you can rent the dvds for free and they have a ton. I mentioned something about a room the last time we were there and they just said it's really hard to have any requests since there aren't tons of dvc rooms and they are always completely full. So you have to be landing there on the day someone else happens to be checking out of the room you want in.
