Member ID and Membership number

Just got a letter from Disney that had my membership number for my recent (april 26th) purchase at BLT. Then I got an email with a one time activation code. When I go to the DVCmember website and input the Membership number from the letter and the activation code it gives me an error.

Is there a separate membership ID number that is different from the membership number?

Yes, call member services and they will give it to you.

I think the number you need to activate your online account is called a club ID.
