I saw they are doing the Merry Mixer again this year...but not Christmas week. We went once and had such a fun time. I wish we could attend again this year, but we arrive just after the 15th. Does anyone know if there are any member activities going on past the 15th of December?

As best I can recall, they have not ever had any Mixers the week of Christmas. They are having a Member Christmas Eve dinner at the CR if you will be around at that time:

Actually, they are having a Merry Mixer in Epcot on Dec. 22nd this year - that's when we are planning on going!

So being new how long should we plan for the mixer? We have a dining reservation at 530 so I know we would have to leave by 4. If we got there at 3 would we be able to get in and have time for the kids to meet the characters?

There is always a line at 3:00 so you will get a slow start. We show up around 4:00 the line is gone and some people are leaving.

You probably want to line up around 2:15 to be the first in.

Yep - on DVC member site under benefits, like DenLo said. Maybe we will see each other there on the 22nd.
