Member discounts?

We're taking our first trip to OKW since becoming DVC members in a couple of weeks. Very excited!!
One of the things I'm wondering is - about discounts for DVC members in restaurants in the parks. Is there a discount, how much is it and does it apply in all eateries? I think/ hope I'm right is assuming that there is a DVC discount in the disney shops - hope someone can put me straight on that too.

Try looking at the Member's Website. I believe if you click on Member News it will list all the current discounts for DVC members.

You'll get a printed sheet at check in which lists all of the DVC perks available while you're there.

There are discounts at several of the DD restaurants, but few (if any) in the parks. There are also few shopping discounts in any of the stores. The Disney Club membership will have some benefit there.

There is a 10% discount for PI and water Park admission. A discount on Sammy Duvall water sports, many of the Tours in the parks, Dolphins in Depth among others.

Do you or any of your traveling party have an AP/PAP? (Many DVC Members do choose annual passes). If so, there is 10% discount on EPCOT table service restaurants for lunch. It's good for the passholder and up to three guests.

You can also get a discount on car rental with National. We booked a car today through MS and our rate was $40.00 less than when we called National on our own!! Not exactly sure what the discount is but it was by far the best rate we found so far!
