I've never posted on the DVC pages before but I am currently on hold and have been for the last 41 mins, is this normal I'm starting to panic lol!!! Xx

For the member cruise it is totally normal. When we booked the Bahamas one last year, I think it took me over an hour to finally talk to a human. Don't panic and don't hang up!

It is totally normal, as long as you hear music, you're in the queue. Don't hang up! It should be soon.

I am used to this with trying for other Disney things... you would think they would have upgrade their phone/on hold system by now. :-( Will keep trying throughout the day. Maybe if I wait until 4 PM I can get through? ;-) ha!

You may get through, but when I tried that strategy one year, the Member Cruise was sold out by 1pm.

No, really, it's okay. You said in a different thread that my time would come, and it will. There will be plenty of Member Cruises when the kids are finished with school, or that work with better timing. The Alaska cruise was such good timing for us, and we had such a fantastic time. I'm not going to force this one -- we'll have another chance.

But do keep posting on your progress, and on the member cruises (the one you're about to go on, and the one you're booking).

Do you mean you get a busy signal? That's typical. The most important thing is not to use a method that will run out battery (cell phone with no charger, cordless phone).

Our cousin was on the Alaskan MC, and loved it. Her DH changed his mind and decided he did not want to go on this one. Our happy planning last week about 3rd party calls was for naught. She is hoping to find a room mate, and perhaps get on via wait list.

DH is still in queue and I have still not gotten through!
