I have a few solid pieces of easter candy left over. I was wondering is they can be melted and I can use the chocolate to make clusters, choc. covered pretzels, etc.? I know someone told me it cannot be used to make flat candy because it will not set up completely. However, I heard it could be used for various other things.

I tried with old easter eggs before and it "siezed" and had to be thrown away:sad2: It depends on the cocoa conternt - if its reasonably high you should be OK, but do it slowly over water rather than the microwave, and resist the temptation to stir:rolleyes1 If you're making clusters etc maybe ad a little butter.
