Good luck to everyone who bought lottery tickets tonight...I have mine! Hopefully my $5.00 investment will be the big one.

Best of luck to my dis-friends! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I also spent $5.

Boy, if I was the only winner-all I would say is Golden Oaks, here I come!!!

Best of luck to you.

I spent $4 and the hubs spent $5. We each picked our own numbers. If we win the $250,000, that's going toward bills and education for our children.

If we win the big one, we will buy new desks for our town's school. They are literally using the same ones their parents/grandparents used and none of the classrooms even match.

I didn't get anything.... not even one number!!! I'm glad I only wasted $1.

They had a special on a while back. It was about the lotteries, winners, how the games are done, etc. They said your chances of winning are the same if you play $1 or $10 or $100. I don't know how they figure that, but that's what they said.

The most I've ever won in lottery games has been $150 (twice). On scratch offs, I've won $250 (once), $100 a bunch of times, $50 a bunch of times, and naturally a ton of the usual prizes ranging from $1 to $25. I wish I would hit HUGE but I guess I'm not destined for that. :(

I bought one, what the heck? :goodvibes Don't bother watching the drawing. I'll have it checked next time I stop for gas. Maybe I'll get lucky & win enough to buy another ticket :rotfl:

Well....looks like we still have a chance for the big one, since no one hit last night! New estimated Mega-Millions....$476 million! I can't even imagine the possibilities...

Off to get my $5.00 worth of winners. :thumbsup2

Again, good luck to you all! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We've got a pool going at work. 2 dollars each. don't know what I would do if I hit. I would love to spend a month in Tuscany learning Italian cooking then another month in Paris learning french baking.

A pool at work sounds like a good idea, but I can almost guarantee no one would spend a cent on lotto (they are a different lot LOL!). So I put in my $6.

We did an office pool, and each person put in $3 (anything more than that is betting the grocery money:rotfl:). It started out with a few of us, and we ended up with 81 lines of numbers. We realize it's SUCH a long shot. I hope that whoever wins it will do good things with the money.

Best of luck to everyone!

We went and got a few more for tonight's drawing. DH came home at lunch time today and we talked about what we would do if we won. Doesn't hurt to dream right? ;)

I bought $5. A few weeks ago when the jackpot really started getting big, dh put in $5 at work in a pool. They've been "reinvesting" their weekly winnings into more tickets.

I also want to point out that my brake lights randomly wouldn't go off when I parked my car at work, and my phone answered itself. I'm thinking these are signs that something else weird will happen to me tonight. I'm hoping it's the winning ticket.:rotfl2:

I bought 1 ticket for $1 - never have played the lottery before, and I am in my 50's, go figure.
:cool1:Best of Luck to all.:cool1:

I figure we will not win, but I will have something for my scrap book from the largest NYS Megaball lottery - $640 million. Years from now - maybe a grandchild will want to know about it. :goodvibes

Hubby just got home, in the nick of time and surprised us all by getting $25 worth of tickets.
Yeah!!!!

:lmao: not really, but good luck to everyone!!! may all your dreams come true!!!

We're in! :cool1:

Last week we matched 3 #'s....hopefully we'll do better tonight! :rotfl2:

For tonights drawing I bought 5 Quick picks and dh bought 2 QP and 3 he picked numbers for.
on mine ...one QP had 2 correct numbers on a 2nd QP i got one number and the mega number. To be honest i dont know how many numbers it takes to win $2-lol! So did i win anything???

You got me $2! I thought you didn't win anything for just matching the ball thing but I looked for you and you do.

It's ...

$2 for just the megaball match
$3 for one number plus the megaball
$10 for two numbers plus the megaball
$7 for three numbers and NOT the megaball
$150 for three plus the megaball
$150 for four and NOT the megaball
$10,000 for four plus the megaball
$250,000 for five and NOT the ball
Jackpot for five plus

Thanks cornflake:cool1: Those $2 will go to the next jackpot:goodvibes

forgot to add I joined 2 lottery pools at work.

Hopefully whoever won the jackpot really needs it. I've been thinking how wonderful it would be to win all that money, but at the same time I'd worry about all the negative stuff it would bring. DH said he heard on the radio that if you win, dont tell anyone and go see a lawyer. Makes sense cause thats a lot of money. I told him if we won. i wouldnt tell anyone until we had to and that would include his mom because she would tell people, then I'd pack my bags and go stay in a hotel. Dh said he's buy a new house and not tell anyone where we live and for parties we hold it somewhere else. If you can tell we watch "How the lottery changed my life" lol! My biggest fear is somthing happening to my dd13, theres so many crazy people out their that would do anything for money
