I like option #1 :) It makes your wedding day last a big longer...yes it will probably be exhausting but you only get one!

Well the decision is made! And it is... number two! I wanted number one because I thought we would have less time for photos with two. Rob was all about two because he loves SBP. So in addition to asking you wonderful DISBrides, I contacted the Roots to see what they thought. They got back to me and explained the day out in such a way that it made sense to go with choice number two. And as Jen it's alot of time for dancing, and our crowd aren't really huge dancers.

I'm concerned that it will be rushing as well, but I also asked Rev. Jack if he would be able to accommodate the earlier time, and he wouldn't have been able to. So we would have lost Rev. Jack if we changed. And that wouldn't have floated.

Now I'm looking forward to my nap before the DP. The hour that's being knocked off allows me to catch some ZZzzzs!

So glad you were able to figure everything out! Your dress looks great and I love the bolero you picked! Glad things are back on track!

AW Meg beautiful dress!!! and it will look fabulous with the bolero! Love the pearls!!! Awesome choice so glad you went with #2

Thanks!! :goodvibes I really think the bolero will help with the whole linebacker thing I have going on in the dress. I'll definitely have to get better pictures at my next fitting on the 13th... I think (how bad is that? I can't remember anything lately!!) :rotfl:

In other happy news - we went to the city hall here in Presque Isle, ME where I work to get the marriage license stuff notarized. We went in, and the notary immediately recognized Rob - she performed his first wedding back in 1999. Thankfully, she had more tact than I have, and didn't ask what happened to his ex!! :lmao: Just shows you what a small world we have up here! Moley!!

So the license is all taken care of. After that was done - Rob mailed it - so it's back on it's way to Florida!!

I also got my BEO/Budget from Diane - I'll post that this weekend, but I'll tell you we're at 17k for the wedding with all taxes and service charges!! :yay: Under budget! YES!!

With 5 days left for RSVPs we're at 34 people. Tomorrow I think I'm going to start hunting people down to get the final word. Friday is our final day for changes for them to count for the final payment. So I would like to know if by any chance the dramatic people have changed their mind. :upsidedow

Hooray for being under budget! Good work!

Yay for sending the marriage license back, wow what a small town!

Aww, I didn't think you have a linebacker look going on at all! But the bolero is really cute and if you'll be more comfortable in it that's what's important.

Good luck with your RSVP's! Either way, you're wedding is going to be awesome! I can't wait until it's here! I also think I'm going through Roots withdrawal and need to see some new pics ASAP! :rotfl2:

Oh I'm so excited! I can't wait to see how everything looks when it comes together. That bolero is going to look gooooooooorgeous with the dress :goodvibes

oooooher under budget!! :thumbsup2

Please post your final BEO! I wanna nosey! :rotfl: i think its great!!

Thanks for being so sweet Sara! I feel like a linebacker, but hopefully it's well hidden with that bolero! Can't wait to get it!

And I know what you mean about Roots withdrawal!! I can't remember when I saw some new Roots pictures here (other than your e-pics!). I got my Roots Guest Book a few days ago - will post soon! Hopefully that will help! lol :rotfl:

Thanks Katie!! I'm uber excited now myself!!

Under budget is always good, :thumbsup2

You should see how happy my dad is about us being so under budget! Oh man, I don't think we have a happy enough smilie on here to illustrate that! :cool1:

Drama free and under budget....what more could you ask for? :thumbsup2

The only other thing I can think to ask for is to lose the few pounds I gained during the drama! Too many virgin Strawberry Daiquris with friends!
Hakuna Matata though! :goodvibes

oooooher under budget!! :thumbsup2

Please post your final BEO! I wanna nosey! :rotfl: i think its great!!

Will do it for you this weekend! It's a little unconventional in places, but it's us! I'm totally jazzed about being under budget. I'm never ever "under"! Always over - overweight, overdressed, overdrafted, over everything!

:cool1: Under Budget and Drama free?!!?!? That's the best kind of wedding! It's going to be great Meg!
Thanks Jennifer!! It's going to be spiffy from here on out! I've banned all sorts of drama and issues! :cutie:

Under Budget?! I'm jealous!!! Glad to hear everything is looking up Meg!

Thanks Heather!! :goodvibes

I'll send my RSVP cattle prod down south for you two to use to get the last of the guests! ;) I agree - good luck with that! We gave them until the 31st.

YAY for ADH! I am soo happy they worked it out.

Me too!! Thanks Lisa!

I am going to attempt to post my budget and my floral budget in this post. I'm at work currently - what better place to do this? LOL :lmao:Well, I got left behind to "meg" (I refuse to be sexist and say man) the desk while everyone else is going to an employee barbecue. I shall work on this now and if I don't get it done, I'll finish it up tonight.

Most definitely under budget!! :thumbsup2

I probably could have come in around the minimum had I not done alot of floral, and skipped the characters. But with the theme being New England Garden, I knew I needed a good amount of floral. I really have no excuse for the characters other than, when all that drama happened I indulged! :rotfl: I might cut that down to just two before the cutoff, but we'll see!

Things that I did that are saving me dinero! They're some what unconventional, but so am I!

1. No alcohol at the wedding! We don't drink, and we have family members who are recovering alcoholics and people who are opposed to it for religious reasons, so we decided right off that we didn't need it.

2. Taking hoopty transportation - instead of making a grand entrance in the carriage or other forms of transport, we decided to just get a mini bus to get us all from POFQ to the Boardwalk. Rob and I are doing a first look, so it wasn't a huge priority (if any) for us to have stylin transport.

3. The drama ended up paying off - by moving our times around, we save 250.00 on the DJ! Who woulda thunk??

Wow, you did great with your budget!! Just curious, the dessert party photo package, does that just include the photographer? Do you get a photo CD with that? For some reason, I thought it was $1,000 so $350 sounds reasonable now. I'm debating now about whether to add it on...geez, I wish they would just allow the outside photography!

Congratulations of being underbudget! Personally instead of getting rid of a character I would add another :rotfl:

Hooray for hoopty transport!!!! I'm so glad it worked out for you - and way to go on the budget! :thumbsup2

Hoopty transport!:lmao: Meg, you always make me laugh!

I am so happy that you are under budget. It sounds like it is going to be wonderful. I also love your dress!! You are going to be so beautiful on your wedding day!
