Now for my patented absolutely NO DRAMA 2 months to go update!! I promise that there will be no drama contained within this post!
Today I talked to the following people - Pam (WC), Alix (WP's assistant), Laura (Florist) and Anaeli (Reservation Goddess). Oh and Diane (WP) called but left a message - will talk to her tomorrow! So basically I sat at work and planned my wedding!
In addition to the good news - I made a few minor changes to my wedding because of the reduction in number of people. I took out the sparkling cider - the cost was something insane like 260 dollars for 8 bottles. In my informal poll of those actually going to my wedding - no one likes the stuff - including yours truly! Adios Sparkling Cider!
I added in Minnie to go with Mickey - so now we're having 4 characters. My family was asking for her, and since we've reduced the cost we figured sticking her in would be no biggie.
Diane called me and wanted to talk about transportation - I emailed her about getting rid of the bus - no real need for it when the only people staying on property are those who are going to be riding over in the limo! Carrie (The Lurkiest of the Loos!) said there was a minibus available, so I want to chat with Diane about that.
As for floral - I changed a few minor things:
1. Because of the guest reduction we're going to only have 4 tables, which throws off my 6 tables, 6 New England State Flower table names, but I figure we'll take Connecticut and Vermont out - they're the two states in NE that we don't have anyone from.
2. We added a "Hidden Mickey" onto my JR. Bridesmaid's rose wand - I really wanted to make it special for her - she's so jazzed that she gets to keep it and bring it home since it's silk!
3. I think it was Linda who gave me the idea of balloons on the sides of the stage - we're having three bunches of balloons - 1 on each side, and a bigger bunch right in the middle of the stage. They'll have weights on them that we can take with the balloons, so I'll be able to give them to families after the wedding. The bunches will be Yellow Mickey Balloons and Light Blue regular balloons.
Even after adding the balloons, the changes to the guests (I'm finding everyway of putting this, so it doesn't come out - the killjoys who are dull and boring and don't want to come) means that our floral is down to 2800 with tax! It was over 3200 before! Yahoo!
Oh yes I called the Reservation Goddess Anaeli (who I just think is awesome!!!) and talked to her about the room block. It looks like we'll be about 2 nights under what we need to get the free night. So we'll just pay for it, not a problem; we were just going to have it at POFQ anyway as we didn't feel like hotel hopping!
But seriously - I can't say enough nice about Anaeli - if you get her as your reservation consultant type person she's awesome! (And I wasn't paid to say that! lol)
After all that DFTW stuff, let's talk about wedding stuff that we've added to the collection! And the list that's almost done!
My Maid of Honor - my stepsister Jen - finally got her dress! The delay completely wasn't her fault! Last month she had to have emergency gall bladder surgery, so she was feeling rotten for a while before that.

So without further adieu...
and her shoes (I'm so jealous! I can't do heels!)
My Jr. BM had her sandals dyed the canary color, but I told Jen to keep them white - you never know when a wedding might be in her future! hehehe
I also finally got Rob's cufflinks - I don't have them yet, but here's the website picture
And we got his wedding ring! It's tungsten, he's really hard on any jewelry type thing he's ever had, so we're hoping this holds up and is Rob proof!! We got a ridiculously good deal on it - originally 99.99 and we got it for 29.99! Woot woot!
(Again, just the website picture, but you get the point)
We've got things that we're not going to post in the PJ - things that are just too dull, like clothes and coloring books for the kids.
Remember I sent invitations to both WDW and WDL? Here is what we got back - we just got the WDL one back earlier this week
AND we got our first official wedding present - one of our guests sent us this Hallmark Keepsake Ornament - it's called something like "Her Grand Entrance" or "Waiting for the Moment" - I can't remember.
I thought that was so sweet!!
I also want to show you the toe rings I got. I wanted to have one hidden Mickey somewhere on me for the day. So I found these toe rings on Ebay - 12 for 5.00! They're actually of good quality and have held up pretty well. Here are the ones that I'm not wearing at the wedding although I'm tempted to wear the light blue one...
If anyone wants the sellers name, just let me know and I'll pass it along. Great product and service!
I have a list that I'm going down for the final things we need for this shin-dig. One of the things that's on there, I have to share with you!
When I was in Portland in April, when we went to Things Remembered - I picked up one of their catalogs. We were enjoying some Ben and Jerry's (me, Rob's Mom, Ashlyn Rob's niece and Jr. BM, Rob's Brother and Best Man Mike and Mike's GF Carey). I looked in the catalog and they had this steel beer mug tankard thing - it was engraved (no word of a lie)
"Mike, A toast to the good old days! Rob"
Mike thought it was hilarious!! He was like "ahh yes... the days when I used to beat him up!" (Brothers!) So we're going to get that for him with some sort of gift certificate for his gift!
And we're getting the moms this bracelet (or at least Rob's mom - my step-mom will have a purple stone for her birthday!)
And that's all I got for tonight - I am going to go crash!
