I know it's a long shot but is anyone aware of any opporuntities for a photo op with everyone's favourite fairy??? :wizard:

As far as I know, Tinkerbell does not do meet and greets. You can see her start the fireworks when she flies to the castle at the start of the fireworks (stand on the walkway to Tomorrowland) or I know you can "Wake up Tinkerbell" 1st thing in the morning in Tinkerbell's Treasures.

That's the best I can think of!

Thought so....oh well. I've heard of the Treasurers thing before but am not entirely sure on what this is - can someone confirm please?

If you have a Photopass picture taken in front of the castle, the photographer will have you cup your hand - when you get your picture, Tinkerbell will be sitting in your hand. I'm afraid that's as close as you can get.

The closest we got was having our picture taken in front of the castle by the photopass people, and Tink appeared in our hands. My youngest LOVED this, for she is a HUGE Tink fan (just like Mom!) We were really hoping to see her fly during Wishes, and we even had a perfectly clear night.. but no Tinkerbell :(

As of right now, you can only find her flying down from the Castle during Wishes, however there is a *rumor* that she may begin making appearences at one of 1900 Park Fare's character meals within the next year or so to coninside with the new Disney Faries franchise Disney is launching. This is, however, still unconfirmed by Disney so take that with a large grain of salt.

Did anyone see her in the Christmas parade? Was that in WDW or another site?

The footage of her in the Christmas Parade this year was from Disneyland. She appears in the Parade of Dreams at that park, but doesn't do meet-and-greets there either.

Oh that would be so awesome! Fingers crossed!! :wizard:

Aww shucks. I was hoping it was WDW, thinking maybe we would be seeing more of her.

Hi! Tinkerbell is my most favorite Disney character, but sometimes, and I can't even believe that I think this, I am almost happy that she doesn't do meet-and-greets. I think it would almost be a disappointment to see her...at least I felt that way when I saw her during the shots from DL during the Christmas Parade. I was thinking to myself..."that doesn't look like the real Tink!!!"

Maybe it's just me, but I think if they do let her do meet-and-greets she should be like Ariel and just be sitting somewhere.. I'd hate to walk up to her and realize the little pixie I love is really almost as tall as I am. Same goes for Jiminy Cricket. I would HATE to see him walking through the park. As much as I love running up to Mickey each and every time I visit, I think Tink and Jiminy are the two characters that should remain the magical little fantasies that they are.

Just my two cents... :o)

I have to say that I have seen Jiminy Cricket before and it actually was great!! It didn't change the way I look at him. My kids just loved meeting him. He was very small and if they could find a petite girl I think it would be great!!!

I guess I am in the same boat with you. I LOVE Tink, however I had a hard time grasping her in the Parade at Christmas time. it's just not the real Tink I know and love. I think that we love the idea of her. Those photo pass pics with her in the palm of your hand are absolutely magic. Not there when you look, but still there. it's a matter of believing. I understand where you are coming from.

I must confess, I am a Tinker Bell fan also (I'm sure you all guessed already! ;) )

We saw her in 2002 at Disneyland Paris - she was in the Cinema Parade at the Disney Studios. As she was perched quite high above the crowd on one of the floats, she didn't seem too big and our DD (13 months old at the time) was quite impressed when she threw some pixie dust into the crowd! :goodvibes

Alas, there were no meet 'n' greets with Ms. Bell at DLP, either!

I too am a HUGE Tink fan...but, Tink is a pixie, so she is VERY little and she doesn't talk. So I think Disney would be making a big mistake with Tinkerbell doing a "meet and greet". She is magical, she needs to fly. I think she can be "found" in the tree just outside FrontierLand in a lantern. ::yes::
