Hello there everyone,
this is my first post on here even though I have been recieving updates for a while. I wanted to just let everyone know about my wonderful visit with our Southern Bell Princess and her frog.
I tuned 19 this past Saturday, the 23rd. And with my big group of 10 people I was "allowed" to meet 1 character. I choose Tiana because PFH was a 50 minute wait and with little children who did not want to see princesses, waiting would not have been a good way to spend part of my birthday.
So after my 20 minute wait for Tiana and Naveen, I rushed up and hugged them both. When I pulled back from Tiana she saw it was my birthday and said "Aw, sugar baby, it's your birthday! I'm going to have to take you to my restuarant and have you try some of my cajun turkey! Naveen, hunny, ain't my turkey the best thing you've ever had?" and she looked over to Naveen and as he finished signing my book. "Oh yes," he said, while looking at Tiana "its a little spicy but the best, yes!" and he was explaining to me every side dish they cook and eat. They passed my autograph book around and we chitchatted before I had to leave.
Because I am an AP, I like to do something special each time I meet a Face Character. I take selfies with each of them so I can see their features and distinguish which one's I meet each time. After a selfie with Naveen and then Tiana, I asked the photographer to take a picture of us together. He and the CM posed for a selfie on my phone and I thought it was very crafty. I wasn't sure if they actually took a selfie or not so I said, "If you actually took a selfie, I will keep it forever!". Tiana said to the photographer, Eddy, "Oh, hunny she said she will keep it forever! Ain't that the cutest?" Eddy took two more pictures of me, Naveen and Tiana and I waved goodbye and left the Garden Glen.
They were literally the best face character I met in such a long time and for it to be on my actual birthday just made it ten times better. I already miss Tiana's strong spirit and Naveen's spunk but they know I will be back soon.
